Restaurant La Porte Grecque

The food is always superb at La Porte Grecque! My family and I have been coming here for decades, with both my Mom and Dad, and my sister and her husband, having their rehearsal dinners here. Perfect for family occasions, and also a great spot for dates! My boyfriend loved it when I brought him here. The greatest selling point: amazing food, for a low price! I would highly recommend the lamb chops.

this place has been around forever. the service is good, food is great for the price. now onto the bad. the restaurant is small, always packed, and very noisy. the parking situation is a nightmare. you're better of parking across the street at Adonis and running across sources boulevard.

The restaurant was very busy and the food was pretty good. We were a large group, so we got a special meal deal which was great value/portion for money. It is also a bring your own wine establishment, which is always a bonus.

Very good Greek food. Great value for your money. Nice old building with lots of atmosphere. And bring your own wine.

Went with 10 of my friends to celebrate a birthday. I order sea food plate. The server didn't mention that scalloped is wrapped with bacon.didnt either mention on the menu. When I received the plate, I realized the scalops wrapped with bacon.So I told them I can't have bacon. Can I switch to something else instead that. They were agreed it. My plate came back after 20 min, but this time the food was really cold. I felt it came from the fridge. So for the second time I have to send my plate. Then my plate came 15 min later . By that time all my friends finished there meal and there were ordered dessert. I got frustrated and lost the appetite. I Complain to the manager but he was very rude. The way he spoke to me, it was not his problem if I lost my appetite. He said if I want to bring the meal home, I have to pay for it. I end up leaving that place with empty stomach. I will never recommend to anyone to this place. Very bad and poor service.
