2022 September 3 Not often should you have to review a funeral home let alone many. Attended reception and it was ok. The space itself was a decent size, though older and with high ceilings and windows. The service was ok. Staff should've announced the cemetery lot. Since the cars separated during traffic stops, had to drive all around the cemetery to locate the site.
I want to sincerely thank Mr. Pearse and his staff at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home for the exemplary way they dealt with all the arrangements regarding my husband’s funeral. They were professional and carried out all my requests without question……they made a difficult situation bearable. I did not feel any pressure to do more or less. Finally, the cost in my estimation was very reasonable. My children and I would highly recommend Chapel Ridge to anyone needing final arrangements for their loved ones.
Hello Katrina, I had to follow up with you to let you know how much my family and I really appreciate everything you and all the staff at Chapel Ridge did to help make my Dad's funeral as comfortable and accommodating as possible for everyone who attended. I truly feel like there is not one single thing that you all could of done better. To be completely honest I'm blown away by the high level of professionalism and compassion from every single staff member consistently throughout every single moment.. From the very first day we came there and met you and throughout all the days between leading up to the funeral. The way you kept in constant contact with important info reminders or suggestions, and even near the end when we were running behind schedule past our deadline you never made us feel rushed and still maintained a high level of carrying and comfort right up until the very last minute. In hindsight I actually feel bad that I did not get a chance to go around and personally thank every single staff member.. even the guys behind the scenes who were not dressed up in suits/uniform were so nice and helpful with just simply running over to hold a door open for me while my hands were full carrying something out to my car Just all around genuine class acts! Thank you all for helping to make the whole event experience run as smooth as possible. You and your team are definitely Award Winning Excellence!
Our family was extremely pleased with Chapel Ridge for my Dad's funeral. The home has a simple elegance and is very clean. Sagen, the funeral director, is incredible; he's gentle, calm, and extremely easy to deal with. Sagen listened and was completely transparent. We just can't say enough good things about Sagen! During these difficult times, it's a blessing to have someone like him guiding you and accommodating your requests and answering questions with a gentle ease. A family friend also had only good things to say about Chapel Ridge when we told her where the funeral would be held.
Highly recommended- Sagen in Chapel Ridge was very supportive and helped us honouring my mom in the most appropriate way. He took care of all the details and the execution in the day of the funeral was punctual and exactly as we agreed. Thank you Sagen and Chapel Ridge Funeral Home.
A special thank you to Christeen Seevaratnam who assisted and facilitated the funeral and cremation for one of our family members. During this difficult time we felt cared for, informed and in good hands with Christeen. She was compassionate, informative, checked in with us frequently, and made herself available at all times - including a viewing late at night and service early the following day. The facilities are spacious, with ample parking. Highly recommend Christeen to anyone needing funeral arrangements.
My friend J passed away in January 2023 unexpected. His family couldn’t come to Canada due to the visa issue. Pansy and Michael Cheung helped the family with insurance and the shipment of remains back to China. They helped contact China embassy and the shipment department in China to make sure everything is going smoothly. They also helped with all the paperworks, deal with the translations and documents with lawyer. They let the family worry free. Chapel Ridge was really help a lot. Thank you for the professional service.
