(Update 07 Mar 18) Received Callback from Acadian Flooring - they reached an agreement with StoneSelex to honour the contract as it was written. The individual that I talked with was polite. ================= Unusual/Improper Business Practices. -recommended by contractor for stone veneer, have never interacted with them prior -paid $100 deposit for samples (image 1), they backdated an invoice 10 days later when I went back to purchase -store credited $100 (image 2) rather than apply to purchase (image 3) -placed order for stone, paid for 50% of order up front per Bill of Sale (image 3) -store phones day or two later saying they made a mistake... I supposedly need to pay $2 / sq ft more or they will not release order -I phoned today (2 days later) and asked to talk with the owner - he claims that the price is now $3/sq ft more -claim is that supplier rejected order, and that they have no responsibility/culpability and will not honour the price on the Bill Of Sale -reference made to his commission and he did not want it affected -I was told that "Head Office" needs to accomodate or I am out of luck. Notes (1) the delta they refuse to cover is $120 (2) on the paperwork, StoneSelex and Acadian Flooring have SAME address...only the StoneSelex phone number is different Avoid this business. Excellent work and #1 quality by Acadian. Sherry works more like project manager than a sales rep, she follows up with vendor, customer and also installers all the time to make sure everything is in order(even after hours). The installers were very professional, fast and neat with the install. We would recommend this company everyone.

We just renovated our house and decided to put in carpet upstairs for the bedrooms. We were initially happy with the price and service but the installer (who was very nice) ran out of carpet before he finished the job. This was blamed on the using the drawings to measure and not coming to measure the house directly, their choice not ours. When he came to put the final piece in, there was a very noticeable colour difference between the two. The installer offered to the do a small landing with the leftover, about 5x4 feet at no charge, which we took him up on. I'm guessing we got the end of one roll and the start of another. When my wife went back to complain the next day, as the colour was so bad, the managers response was basically "tough luck we aren't going to fix it, here's a bottle of floor cleaner" So we are now left with a master bedroom with two different colours of carpet that runs right down the middle of the bed that I get to look at as soon as I wake up in the morning.

Worse service ever! Last year October, my husband and I were there to return a box of damage flooring on one of the Saturday. My sales person was off for the day, another woman who refused to provide her name, and served us badly like we were nothing to her. I felt deeply assaulting by her behavior and the way she spoke to us, so we asked for her manager, but then she went to her manager ahead of us and lie in front of us to say we were not lining up and impatient. This was unbelievable bad assaulting and lies like we were not there listening. We spoke to the manager that she was lying and I had no idea why we were randomly picked by her hate feeling. The manager protected her by saying her family member was just passed away , so she wasn't in good mood. "So, she just picked us and insulting us for no reason??" This was ridiculous excuse I ever heard. Also the manager decided to do nothing about, except let us exchange the damage box of materials (they provided damage box to customer at first place, of course they have to take it back and get us the new ones, I didn't understand why it became a problem solved for such customer service attitude issue). I would suggest everyone not going to this flooring company if you don't want to see a moody woman randomly picking you without a proper apology. It was the worse and terrible Saturday morning I ever had. If I didn't choose them for my flooring, I shouldn't be getting such terrible service in my life. There are lots competitors around the city, don't see why it became a choice for the entire industry.
