My family and I have been coming to Champs for bowling and the arcade since 2017. It's where my family and I had our 1st date in Milton. My son has sensory issues, and the server was SO accommodating to turn down the volume to the music one night at bowling. The food is fantastic, and you have to try their pizza. The new VR ride is a lot of fun. Recently my son and I did the escape room for the 1st time, and he can't wait to have his birthday party there in Feb. I have no complaints about the bar, and the service is quick and friendly—the perfect place for family fun, food, and a game of billiards.
Fun fun fun! Also they are running a great deal, my 4 kids did 2 hrs of bowling for $18!! Another 30$ for arcade fun. Very clean, large venue and helpful staff. The shoes also didnot stink, which is always a bonus. They also have an escape room. How awesome is that? I didn't even know it existed. Definitely going again soon.
So it was birthday party with Escape room. Booked party room with champs. Kids waited for there personal pizza for 20 min. Then fries were not coming after 10min fries came then nachos were too late that kids didn't even had that. No water was given in the party room. all to gather pretty disappointed.....
Went bowling here for a work event. Staff were nice and worked fast. The vip area had a nice area to bowl and lounge in. My only complaint is a lot of the shoes were worn through with cracks in the leather. They are happy to replace a pair if you ask.
We came in today and it was decent. My husband, myself and our kid had a good time bowling. I didn't appreciate the employee removing the only 7 pound bowling we had and giving it to another family when they already had 1 7 pound bowling ball. I specifically said not to remove the 7 pound ball as it was the one my son was playing with, I turned my back and it was gone. I should of said something. There was someone else going around looking for 7 pound balls. My son was so annoyed he had to use a 10 pounder. Hes only 7. We would return, perhaps this establishment should get more 7 pound balls.
Great ambience. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The escape rooms are well designed. The gaming area carpet could be washed or replaced. Plenty of parking space available. The place is packed on weekends. Plenty of bowling lanes.
We had planned a client appreciation this past weekend. This was the 3rd time we held this event at Champs, the previous 2 were prior to COVID and we’ve always had a great experience, which is what brought us back here again. I have to say things have majorly changed for the WORSE!! Yes prices have naturally gone up but we still chose this place because we never had any issues. However, now customer service has gone down the drain!!! It was a party of approx 90+ people and it was embarrassing at the situations we kept facing. First the drinks came out and the hot water for the tea was cold, we asked it to be replaced, it was still cold! When they started serving food they could not provide us more tongs/utensils because they did not have enough?????!!!!! Running a business and if you have 3 parties at the same time, you would imagine they would have enough supplies for all. In a party of 90 people just they are allowing to serve Food from both sides but everything has just 1 tong? During our booking we had specially asked for veggie pizzas only, they started bringing out cheese only. When we corrected them we had veggie orders, they said no their order has cheese and pepperoni! We never ordered pepperoni especially since we had majority of clients who ate halal meat only. They had some food out already and now all that is being cold while the employee is taking picture of what order we had placed vs what they had. She went to speak to the manager on duty, and he come back to say “well we now have 8 extra wasted pizzas”! We could not believe he said to us, which was to no fault of ours! He did not even apologize! He just went to the kitchen and had them correct the order, but during this mess quarter of the food which was out is already cold as 20-25mins had passed. Due to not having enough pizza cooking trays and tongs and utensils they had to wait for us to give some back to them. We had 6 nachos and 1 tong for it and 4 fries and also 1 tong for it. Why would this place book so many parties at the same time if they cannot handle it? Being the host we did not get to eat due to the chaos and later got feedback from some guests that some of the pizza was uncooked. The drinks were not refilled until we kept having to go back to ask for refills, then more plastic cups. The coffee and tea was served with no stir sticks as they could not find any. We have never experienced any of this before at any of our events. It was very disappointing to see all this! The girls at the bar were apologetic and were trying to keep up with everything, as it was not their fault! At the end of the party the manager who had taken our booking showed up and did apologize and gave some vouchers but at that point in time we already had guests who experienced this mess during the party. Champs needs to be better organized, get customer orders right and bring out food at the same time so people are not waiting for food and drink refills! Very sad to see the new management taking their reputation down the drain! 0 customer service!
New to the area, checking things out... Three of us Saturday 5:45pm one lane rental for 60 minutes. Arrived, paid $45, brought own shoes/balls and ended up leaving in 35 minutes. Lane was visibly covered in Chocolate Cake and other food items from Bday party we were seated next to and staff wouldn't change OR clean our lane. Next frustration was the Ball Return... what a nightmare. Service button does not bring helpful staff, instead you have to track an employee down. In the 35 minutes we "played", we spent 10-12 minutes waiting for ANY ball to return. Had 7+ in our rack It's honestly a shame as we planned to order alcohol/food, and were considering their bowling leagues as we are new to the area. Disappointing experience all around.
Came to champs Friday February 3 at around 8pm, we haven’t been to champs in awhile but came for some drinks and food. We were sitting in a booth and didn’t have to wait our waitress was on the ball, with refills and getting food out to all her customers. She was very sweet and apologetic we also watched her serve tables that weren’t even hers because she was running to a bunch of different tables with a smile on her face. We asked for her name because we are expecting the same service next time. Sophia got us a pool table right away after we were wait listed for 3 hours but we came to champs with the intentions of playing pool. We are very happy with her service we will definitely be coming back again, just for her service.
If I could give it a zero I would!! Absolute worst customer service I have EVER had! You’d think the owner would want to make money…don’t expect to be served and if you are, expect a LONG wait with no one there. And to respond to the owner, that is correct - I only review negative places to warn people. Great service is rewarded onsite with generous tips and direct emails to the facility. Another way that even the owner can’t take ownership of the issue - just wants to make excuses.
