I absolutely love this place. The vibe is always just right. Busy enough to give you energy but you can still have a conversation. The drinks here are creative, thoughtfully paired well with the food and easy on the eyes. The food, get the food! The Crunch Wrap is where it’s at. The tacos are also amazing. And don’t forget to get a beer and a bump!
Except for the chips and Gauc, we didn’t like the taste of any of the tacos! We ordered the fish, chicken and cactus tacos. The cactus tacos were absolutely mush on mush! Zero texture to offset the mush of the cactus! I never say anything bad about food but this one made me puke! The vibe was good and a lot of crowd encouraged us going in. But chips and Gauc is the only thing we will stick to the next time. Does have a cute little shop too inside.
Visited on a weeknight around dinner time. Finding a parking space and a table will probably take a good 15 minutes before actually ordering. Our little one was with us and we sat in the connecting hallway between the two restaurants at the window H4&H5. High chairs are available, but not high enough for the bar height tables. Ordering our meals and drinks were a breeze via QR code menu. Dishes were brought out individually as they were freshly made. Everything we had order was delicious. My partner and I enjoyed the tacos and East Oysters. The ceviche salsa appetizer is unique and enjoyable. The Yuca fries and chips were a hit with our picky eater. I wouldn't recommend bringing a stroller unless you're on the patio.
Centro is a gem tucked away in the neighborhood. The food is excellent. Fresh and tasty - some of the best “Mexican” food I’ve found in the Cities. I had the Mexican pizza for lunch. My only complaint is the portion could be a bit bigger. They clearly can host large numbers of people in the modern and welcoming space. It exudes a friendly and cool vibe. They appear to offer a wide range of drinks and cocktails too. I’m guessing the place is humming in the evening. I had no trouble finding a table at lunch. Parking is on the street free. I appreciate that they don’t have TVs in the space. It is well set up to order by QR code. That worked just fine. They do not automatically serve up a glass of water, which was disappointing. Since I ordered by QR code, I guess I would have had to go up to the bar to request one. I didn’t bother. I still give it 5 stars as it is a nice venue with great food. I’ll be back.
Fun atmosphere, lovely patio, good tacos & easy/quick digital self ordering! Staff was super friendly. Can’t wait to come back for a happy hour.
Lively atmosphere and a surprisingly impressive self-service dining experience. They accommodated my son’s peanut allergy which is a huge plus. Ordering from the QR code is super easy and there’s still plenty of staff around if you need anything. Food came out fast even though they were slammed on a Friday evening. Tucked in the far corner of the restaurant is a gift shop with some truly unique treasures. I even ran into some special treats for pups!
I went for happy hour with some colleges. The place is very welcoming. It is kinda small but the environment is nice. Food was good for casual dining it is not a fine dining it was tasteful and also not too expensive. Would definitely recommend. Special mention to the QR code ordering system sit, scan, order online and the food comes to you quick and efficient. I got a margarita and a Burrito for 18$
Fabulous tacos, outdoor seating, nice service staff. Must try the octopus tacos and margaritas are pretty dang good! What I didn’t like, is the impersonal ordering from your phone. Other than that it was wonderful!
Yum! The tacos were so flavorful. Great indoor and outdoor seating options. The sangria was quite tasty too!
First place, this place is credit card only, and you order on your cell phone from your table. Normally, I would just walk by and let the hipsters have this one. That being said, the staff was friendly, the food was great, and when I wanted to get a coffee at the venue next door, they let me bring it over since some items from their coffee shop are not on their restaurant menu. The ceviche was a perfect balance of fish, citrus, and spices. The guacamole was pretty standard with no risk taking there. The nopales, however, were exceptional.
