Central Mn Pediatric Dentists

I'm more reviewing the place in Brainerd, but I love the care and concern they have taken with both of my autistic children. They work with the parent and what they are comfortable with. They allow/encourage children to explore the dentist chair and tools being used to make it less scary for them. Professional, Clean, and make all your options aware to you. I've had nothing but good experiences with our challenging times introducing to high sensory children to the dentist.

My son is very scared of new situations. The staff was so accommodating and explained each step. He also had to have a cavity capped and i was one nervous momma. The hygienist and dentist (Dr Andree)were so sweet, patient and helpful. They calmed me down and were so sweet to my son. He is so comfortable there. We drive 40 minutes to the dentist because they are so great!

Central Mn Pediatric Dentists is a wonderful place to bring your kids! The staff is all very friendly and are great at making kids feel welcome and comfortable! I had to bring my daughter in, in an emergency situation and they fit her in the schedule right away and made her first experience at the dentist as a 1.5 year old fun! I highly recommend them!

I brought my 4 year old here for his first dentist appointment ever. He is a very shy and nervous about everything and also has anxiety so I heard a pediatric dentist would be best for him. I informed the hygienist how scared he was and how he has anxiety and she said no problem, that how at there office they always go over everything with the kids before they do it so they know what's coming and they work slow to keep the kids happy, which made me happy. However that never happened my son was put in the chair and simply said I'm going to look at your teeth and started cleaning. He had no clue what was going on and he freaked out. He was crying so hard and trying to get up. Then the hygienist asked me to help keep him down so she could finish. So I basically had to lay on top of him to let her clean his teeth when she was done his whole mouth was full of blood. I will never go back and will tell everyone who asks to find somewhere else because in my opinion that is not how to deal with children. My son says he will never go to the dentist again and it actually scared him so bad he developed a nervous tick from it that we had to take him to pediatrician for.
