We had a fabulous time at Cedar Point.  The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and the other people staying there were also very, very friendly and nice. The weather was georgous and warm the 1st few days, so my wife even got into the water on the paddle boards and the water bikes.  She slipped into the water a few times from the bike.
The leaves were beautiful and the roads are winding and hilly.  The entire area around Cedar Point is georgous with many places to walk (shortish) and also longer hikes
We hope that you will have the time to visit our new friends, Tim & Karen @ Cedar Point Resort on North Star Lake.

You can not find a better resort to spend some time in the great north country of Minnesota.  The accommodations are outstanding and Karen and Tim are wonderful host's.  Fifteenth year running.

We have been coming to Cedar Point for 15+ years, and we couldn't give a higher recommendation for a family vacation spot!  Our kids are now late teens and  can't wait to put down the phones and electronics and spend time swimming in the pool or lake, messing around on the beach, fishing, canoeing, jumping off the swim platform and talking by the campfire. There are tons of activities for all ages.  Karen and Tim are super hosts.   The resort is clean and well maintained.  We have plenty of privacy if we want it, and plenty of other people around the resort or at the lodge if we are in the mood for socializing.  We are avid fishermen, and fish this and several other lakes nearby.  We never fail to have good fishing and make great family memories.  Karen and Tim and Cedar Point have made our family vacations awesome times to remember!
