The campground itself was okay. The site we had was large and surrounded by trees. The owner was friendly. What we didn't like was the lake (my son in law called it the Dead Sea) it was not good for catching anything but weeds! There were 5 docks. 3 of the 5 were reserved or private, which was annoying. The swimming beach was about as big as a postage stamp. Finally, the dump station was pathetic. No water hose, and hard to find. We will not be going there to camp again.

This is our families favorite campground, been going here with family for 20 years. Terry is a really nice easy going guy. It's a Clean, quiet, safe, family friendly place.

We had reserved a site weeks ahead but when we got here Terry (owner) had given our site to another couple who just showed up ahead of us. He gave us another site for our 5th wheel that was on low ground on the edge of a woodsy swamp and the ground was soggy wet. Not a full hook up site like the one we had paid for. No WIFI, Nothing to do here. And as luck would have it rained hard off and on making our stay and our lot a wash out. Would not reccomend this camp ground. We are ending our vacation early and headed home.

I visited there last year with 3 other fiends. I was just looking for the campground again so I could make my reservations because it was very nice and pleasant. The owner was kind and attentive. The fishing was great and the park was clean. The bathrooms and showers were clean and hot. I really enjoyed my stay and am bringing my family here this year for our family vacation. Great quiet place. This will be my 3rd time staying here.

This is in response to the review posted for 2 years ago. They are talking about a different campground. We were up there earlier this month and the owner is Terry. He has owned it for many years. We've been up there about once a year for the last 5 or 6 years.. We don't take in any of the fishing or boating, just use the campground It's been great every time we've been there.
