Our family has been coming to Island View since 1991, more than 25 years.  We have shared our time with extended family on Sand Lake at Island View and it is the peace and joy that we judge our other vacations.  We live in Austin, TX and have for 20 years, the more than 1100 driving miles to get to Island View is always worth it.  We have enjoyed our piece of heaven here and Elaine is the BEST of resort keepers.  This year brought the next stage of the next generation of kiddos to play in the sand, have parades, share wonderful meals, canoe, kayak and paddle board and enjoy our time in the beautiful North Woods of MN.

Time to take out the docks. We lucked  out and got some good weather.

A great place to vacation! This will be the second time my family and I have been there at the end of the month. We're very exciting to be going there again and for future years!
