We ordered 4 dishes: 1 ordered the beet salad which had a picture that showed mostly beets with some cheese and lettuce. However, the item I received was a lot of lettuce with a small amount of beets. The taste was fairly bland. I would rate the salad a 6-7 out of 10. 2 My 8 year old order the personal pizza. The cheese and sauce was delicious but the crust was very different and not good. 3 My husband ordered the Butter Chicken. It was a large amount of food but the taste was average. He rated it an 8 out of 10. 4 My 15 year ordered the Hamburger and loved it. She gave it a 9 out of 10. It wasn’t too busy on a Sunday afternoon and we found a place to sit inside with no problem. However, it’s not the nicest place in terms of decor and vibe.
This is honestly one of my new favorite spots in BC. They have an amazing selection of healthy food which can suit Keto, Paleo, and Vegan diets. I got the cassava crust pizza with lamb and tapioca cheese and it was brilliant! The staff was also super friendly and answered all my questions and helped me pick what I wanted. They also make low carb, gluten free, no sugar. Finally, their prices are very reasonable, specially for the quality of their food. Definitely coming back here many times
Oh my god! The food is tasty! Might not be the healthiest choice for Keto, but fills that void and minimizes the cravings! Will be returning for sure! Just not a fan of the location, as crack heads are everywhere, so watch your valuables! Suggestion: Open a location in New Westminster Just sayin'
If you're on a low carb or keto diet you will really appreciate this place. They offer dishes that are already keto friendly so you don't have to make a bunch of substitutions to your dish. We ordered the lamb and beef burrito, lamb and beef Shepard's pie, and the baklava all keto renditions. I say 'rendition' because the shepherd's pie wasn't like your known Shepard's pie but it was a great alternative for a keto version. Food is tasty and the portions are very filling. The staff was also kind and helpful. Pay parking on the street is close by. There are booths and tables inside, clean environment. I would definitely come back to try more items on the menu.
This place left a very good impression on me. At first, I thought it was just a keto restaurant, but there are also non-keto options and plenty of choices for vegan and GF diets. I don't follow any of these diets, but the person taking my order made sure that I was aware of everything in my order in case I needed to know. He was super friendly! I went back and forth on whether I wanted hummus in my platter and apologized for being indecisive, and he just laughed it off with me. I had a Tandoori Jackfruit Feast Platter. The feast platters are very customizable: you can choose your protein, sauces, type of rice basmati or cauliflower, the veggies you want in your salad, and if you want to add any hummus and/or tzatziki dip. I was super happy with the platter I built! The tandoori sauce was as flavourful as I hoped for and pretty spicy, but that might've just been the jalapeños I added and the cooling tzatziki went really well with it. It was also very filling! For dessert, I tried the Keto New York Cheesecake. Mixed experience with this. The cheesecake had a very light texture similar to some no-bake cheesecakes, but with the full-bodied tangy flavour of a baked cheesecake, and I really liked how unique it was. But I think it was frozen in the middle and the biscuit crust was a little dry in a freezer-burnt way. There was a dollop of what looked like whipped cream on top but tasted like and had the thickness of butter, which I had to discard because it was too rich for me and didn’t have any flavour to contribute. I asked about decaf coffee/espresso when I ordered, and they don’t carry it, but tea was suggested as an alternative, so I ordered a green tea. The bag wasn’t labelled but it tasted like a sencha which is one of my favourites. Order and pay at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Space is a little tight in the cafe but it’s kind of cozy and I found the atmosphere to be welcoming.
This used to be my go to place. I would go there & order from Ubereats - min twice a week. For the past while order sizes were getting smaller and smaller constantly their dish sizes a year ago used to be extremely generous... I understand that the costs of everything is now higher due to inflation, but just charge slightly more to cover it. I can't get full on a half lasagna guys lol I can literally see the bottom of the container this used to be full to the top a year ago!
Really enjoyed a keto lasagna today, it was just sensational - The staff are really friendly and the menu offers something for everyone from strict vegan to committed carnivores. The food is prepared with fresh produce daily. Keto Caveman Cafe offers the opportunity to enjoy healthily food at everyday prices. This was an unsolicited review by a happy customer.
A nice little place that serve real keto menu. Food is tasty. It is a self served restaurant and the decor is slightly old.
Ordered keto pizza yesterday for dinner.. and couldn’t finish since it was so burnt. It was my first order at this caveman cafe so not sure if this is usual or a mistake. Anyways it’s quite surprising to see selling food like this, and never order here again.
I ordered a pizza from them, and I can't believe i payed almost $18 for a pizza size of my hand, that tastes really casual to be polite. And if you want their large which is 4" more you have to pay $10+
