Waffleland Cafe

Beautiful interior, fast and friendly service. So many different types of waffle! Tried two sweet waffle, it was delicious. The fresh strawberry was a delightful surprise, it was so good! Milkshake was excellent too. Portion could be a bit bigger to match the price. Presentation was okay but it tasted great! We enjoyed the dining experience tonight.

The waffles here are delicious. We enjoyed the Norwegian style waffle during a food tour and returned to try the traditional Norwegian waffle. This cafe excels at presentation. Made better, there are a wide variety of menu options including sweet and savory. Inside is decorated nicely and the staff are great. This is a highlight of Gastown and worth a visit.

Fantastic breakfast experience ! The decoration and the furnitures give the impression that we are really in a place called Waffleland. We started with an Oreo milkshake and followed with waffles. I had the vegan option which was good but I would still recommend a “normal” one if you can. *careful that the direction on google maps indicate the restaurant on the wrong street. Main entrance is on Water St.

This place has a reap fun atmosphere and great staff. The staff was respectful and attentive. The prices were not bad and the food was great. If you like waffles this place is a must.

I was walking through Gastown looking for a cute cafe to have brunch at. I wasn’t disappointed when I found this lovely waffle cafe! The atmosphere is great and the food is good, they just need to pay more attention to the tables near the windows because they kept forgetting my water and asking for our order. Other than that it was great! I recommend it.

The waffles were delicious! Pricy for the size of the plate but really good. The interior is small but well-decorated and cozy. Best thing I ate was the smoked duck, absolutely amazing.

Absolutely wonderful. The ambiance was lovely and the service was fast considering there was only one server and the kitchen staff. The food selection was great, the food was excellent as was the presentation. They offer a selection of savoury waffles and sweet waffles. It definitely is worth trying. Highly recommend.

AMAZING ATMOSPHERE. The vibes that this place brings is amazing. Comfy, cozy and sweet. The waffles were fantastic. The ones we ordered only came with one large waffle so for those who eat more I would recommended to order something more.

@waffleland_cafe ft Shake it Baby a combination of orange, mango and peach It was so so hard to pick one thing to have from their menu cus everything looked so good. Will have to go back to try the other sweets on the menu for sure! We were excited but also nervous about going there, because for some reason, we thought this place should be the Disneyland for waffles with that store name. The place def had a cute menu. The decor was so cute and def IG-worthy. The service was so friendly. They accommodated a huge group well and efficiently. This hot chocolate was just what we needed this winter. Wish the taste of hazelnut was a little stronger but still a good drink. Will go back for waffles next time!

The waffles were delicious. We went right when it opened at 10am and there were 3 groups waiting outside already. I would recommend going early. It seems to be busy all day and many people were waiting outside even when we left. The hazelnut hot chocolate didn’t taste like it had any hazelnut in it.
