Story

Catfe is Vancouver's first and only cat cafe, located on the second floor of the International Village Mall bordering Chinatown and Gastown. Enjoy cat-themed beverages and snacks, shop for fun meowchandise, and most importantly, bask in the company of the 8 to 12 new fur-riends!

Partnered with the BC SPCA to host an ever-changing roster of adoptable felines, Catfe provides a foster environment for the cats until they find their forever homes, as well as a community gathering space for cat lovers of Vancouver in need of some quality kitty time. Catfe has found homes for over 440 cats since opening in December 2015.

Children Policy:
Please note we have recently changed our policies regarding children based on customer feedback and consultation with other cat cafes. Children 5 to 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult (maximum 2 children per adult). Sorry, we do not allow children age 4 and under in the cat lounge. Young children are welcome in the cafe, which has a viewing window into the cat lounge.

"Catfe is Vancouver's original cat cafe, rescuing cats since 2015. Located downtown on the 2nd floor of International Village Mall ‘Tinseltown’ Mall where Chinatown meets Gastown, we are partnered with various BC rescues to help find homes for adoptable rescue cats. We have 20 to 25 cats in the lounge at any time, with lots of kitties getting adopted and more newbies arriving each week.Catfe is both a temporary foster environment for rescue cats, and a welcoming space for cat lovers in need of animal therapy. Enjoy cat-themed drinks and snacks, browse our shop full of cat supplies and meowchandise, and make some new feline furriends! One of Canada’s first cat cafes, Catfe has found homes for over 1400 cats since opening in December 2015."
