Catfish Charlie's

We had the catfish fingers. The breading was wonderful and most of the fish was as well. A few pieces were tough and chewy. Servings were geneous!

Good but not excellent food, slightly pricey. The night we were there we had to wait over an hour to be seated and served our food. Nice to look out at river if you get seated outside.

I was miserable leaving Catfish Charlie's!! From all the AMAZING food I tried! It was all so good, I ate until I couldn't stand it anymore! I highly recommend this place not only is the food incredible, the atmosphere and staff are great!

I parked my truck at the casino and walked over here and had a splendid dinner and a couple of very nice brewed on site beers. The meal was a fair bit less expensive than I expected, and they only asked $4 a pint for their ale and stout, which is better than any other catfish joint on the Mississippi I've seen. I met the owner and he was as friendly and charming as could be. I'll try to come back some time.

On 7-28-14 I stopped at the truck stop down the street and walked down here to eat. The waitresses were pretty and friendly. I ordered blackened catfish, cheese mashed potatoes, and a salad. I told her either Cesar or Italian dressing. She said Cesar would cost extra. I've never heard of that! When she brought my salad it had a little bitty roll with it that was hard and tasteless,.... kinda like trying to eat tree bark or something. The mashed potatoes we're pretty good, the grilled blackened catfish was okay at first but then it started tasting weird. I've certainly had much better! I won't bother to go back! Nice place but the food left quite a bit to be desired in my opinion. Not very good for the what they change for it! I was a little disappointed. Certainly not as good as I expected. Next time I stop in here, I think I'll just stick with Wendy's or Dairy Queen. I think it would be just as good, and cheaper for sure! Oh, just one more detail. I had to fight the flys off of me and my food the whole time I was eating. And I was sitting inside.
