Story

Gilles Brassart, a restauranteur from the South of France has teamed up with Dominique Moussu – owner of the L’Epicerie – Brought together by their passion for food, they invite you for a food experience. Recipes inspired from the flavours of the South of France and Mama Regine's kitchen (Gilles’s Mama). Simple. Flavourful. Delicious.

Our food was amazing. Really delicious and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The staff were all very welcoming and took time to take our coats and chat at our table. I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. It's very intimate and charming. Not a huge fan of the video displayed on the wall, I found that very distracting. It would be better to have some tasteful art pieces instead. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommend for date nights or family dinner.

Food is good but service is very unpredictable. Bad place to go if you have to get to an event after. Also too loud.

I usually enjoy Cassis, I have been going here for a few years now, but today may have been one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had that has convinced me never to come again. First of all, it took over 1.5 hours to receive our entrees. During this period, our waiter did not bother to take a single second out of his time to refill our water or drinks. Nor did he bother to come to apologize or provide us updates as to how long the food will take. When I was finally able to flag him down and explain to him that we have been waiting for our food for over an hour, his response was "it is coming", as he proceeded to walk away. 30 minutes later, our food still had not arrived. We asked to speak to a manager, and they responded with "we have no managers". Unbelievable. The waiter we had certainly had some sort of God complex like we should be deferential to him because of how great the restaurant is. Also, the food was pretty average given the $120+ price tag and the 1.5 Hour+ wait. The entire time, not a single person apologized or offered something for our troubles.

Fabulous experience. From service to the meal to the wine. Everything was excellent.

The food was great, especially the croque Monsieur. I enjoyed the salad on the side and the pomme frites was perfect.
