I adore this wonderful bakery with its European style delights - not overly sweet, fluffy, flaky, with local ingredients and a generous helping of love, perfect in every way. Everything we have tried, from frequently sold out breads to pastries and order form cakes, has been truly excellent. But that is only half the charm. This place could not be friendlier and more pleasant to visit. Thank you for settling in this neighborhood to bring us joy!
This new organic Japanese inspired bakery is seriously awesome. I tried Ontario pear tart and etc etc all great !! Balance of sweetness and richness are perfect. I got matcha green tea roll cake from my senpai friend bought one for me today as well. All ingredients are really top notch, so as the skill. I can tell by my experience in Japanese food industry. Lastly they are all sweet people!! Absolutely double thumbs up !!!
I've been a fan of Cassis Bake before they open this pattisrie. Her butter tart is the best I've ever had! Cakes are fluffy and not overy sweet, Matcha cake with azuki was heaven..Too bad we don't live close by but it maybe good 'cause I know I'd be there sooo often if I live close by
i got the matcha pound cake and it was absolutely delicious! it was my first time trying anything matcha so it was the perfect experience. the taste was very gentle, and the red bean paste went so well with it. i will definitely come back here to try more of what they have to offer!!
Love this little bakery! Honestly everything here is yummy. My husband and I love butter tarts so we get it whenever we see them and their butter tarts are the best. The crunch of the crust and filling texture is just so perfect, no runny filling business here. Plus they have minis. Love that they have mini versions of lot of their goods. My son's favorite is their Belgian chocolate cake. Mine is the caramelized apple loaf, great with tea or coffee.
Everything I have tried has been delicious, and the customer service is amazing! I am constantly craving the treats from here. Definitely a gem in the community!
It was nice to ride on the Danforth's bike designated lane to get to this place. We made of this visit an afternoon trip to the East of the the city. I picked an apple dessert and the pecan/chocolate I think it had chocolate; both good and not super rich so that's nice. The pastry is fresh; This is a take-out place unfortunately; it would be nice for the sense to smell all the baking that happens on site. Friendly people.
Went in here yesterday. So as I was peering through the window, a passerby insisted I go inside as it was such a great bakery. They weren't wrong. The smell alone was delicious enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. The shortbread I got from here was outstanding. I cannot wait to go back to try more goodies from here!
This bakery is incredible & definitely worth checking out. I tried a bunch of sweet/savoury options and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, definitely worth checking out!
Very friendly owner. Scones are tasty. You're embraced with beautiful, comforting buttery note once you step in this tiny yet cute bakery.
