All of our sweets are baked fresh from scratch using the finest ingredients and our priority is on TASTE. We take pride in everything we make and believe in putting the extra time to offer you the best version of our sweets.

Our satisfaction comes from our customers who come back and tell us they’ve never had a cake or cupcake that tasted so good. Our secret? We love what we do and everything we bake is made in our shop from raw ingredients and made by hand. We don’t believe in baking from a “box” which is why you can taste the difference with our all of our baked goods and keeps our customers coming back for moreJ

We always have a variety of cupcakes, squares, cookies and mini cakes along with our famous butter tarts and scones available during the week. Weekend treats include Cinnamon Roll Scones, Rustic Pear Tarts along with seasonal goodies.

The cupcakes are absolutely delish! Perfect balance of chocolaty goodness and sweetness. The icing was also extremely good… just nice in sweetness. Doesn’t give you a sugar headache. Communication with Pina was so prompt and fuss free. I am definitely getting more cakes from this bake shop for my other celebrations! I highly recommend this shop to others! Note: I added the embellishments to suit our party theme, cupcakes came with yellow/blue sprinkles

A few years ago we got our wedding cupcakes from Sweet Serendipity, so when it came time for my daughter's birthday I was so pleased I could get these mini cupcakes done. The whole process was so easy - a quick email and EMT to order, then a truly contactless pickup very grateful for this as I have a newborn at home and we're in yet another Covid wave. Of course the cupcakes are so delicious - not too sweet, perfectly moist with the perfectly dense icing in the perfect icing to cupcake ratio. You really can't go wrong ordering from here.

Mmmmmmm, so good!!!  I just picked up my order of 4 cupcakes, one butter tart, and a giant cupcake for my brother's family. Sharing the cupcakes with another family member, but oh my goodness, this is what quality tastes like!!!  Let me tell you; Pina is the real deal when it comes to baking! She uses REAL BUTTER, REAL INGREDIENTS! None of this artificial sweeteners and processed oil.  Sweet Serendipity is the best place to get your sweet fix! And I will definitely be getting my cakes and cupcakes in future!  Thank you, Pina!!!

We ordered a chocolate cake for a birthday and were absolutely delighted with our experience and the quality of the product. It was universally agreed by those in attendance at the birthday celebration that this was the best chocolate cake any of us had ever eaten. We were so pleased with the look, the texture, the flavour and the way that Pina dealt with us. We will come back and can't recommend Sweet Serendipity enough.

Got a carrot cake for my husband’s birthday. He and everyone who had it loved it. Quick response on emails and did what they said they would do. Very moist and delicious cake. Cream cheese frosting. I would order again.

Pina is the best baker in the city! We have been going here for the last 5+ years for every celebration from birthdays, to anniversaries, to Christmas. We either get the 6" or 8" cakes, or the cupcakes. My favourite is the chocolate, and my wife and kid love the vanilla. Ordering online is easy, and pick up is straightforward.

We are food snobs and took a chance on this highly rated neighbourhood bakery for our daughter's birthday. We ordered the chocolate rose cake and it was literally THE BEST CAKE WE HAVE EVER HAD, moist to perfection and a slice of heaven.

A few years ago my neighbor shared his birthday cake with me, the cake was delicious. So when I went to order my own I noticed there was cupcakes. I've now placed several orders and I still haven't gotten to that cake I wanted. THE CUPCAKES! Heavenly. I'm a chocolate guy through and through but the strawberry and vanilla cupcakes are so flavourful it's unbelievable. Love those cupcakes. Keep up the great work.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary a toned down but wanted to order a nice cake. From the extremely positive online research including reviews, we chose Sweet Serendipity. The lady on the phone was so kind and helpful in our order. I ordered a classic double layer 8” round cake. A chocolate cake with raspberry buttercream.  I scheduled a pick up time on our anniversary date and was shown the cake through the front windowbecause of Covid restrictions and safety. It was beautiful. It was so thoughtful for them to have added rosettes to the cake no charge as it was our anniversary.  The whole family loved the cake. Perfect chocolate and raspberry flavour without being too sweet.  Thank you so much Sweet Serendipity!  It was our first time there and won’t be our last!!  Note: the figurines were added by myself as they were a part of our wedding day.
