Casey’s Grill Bar

It was very odd coming across a Casey's, long gone from southern Ontario. The decor and vibe were quite retro, stuck in the early-mid 90's. The service was absolutely fantastic! We had the kindest, most down-to-earth server one could possibly want in a restaurant. We started with some wings, which were tasty. Sadly, our main course, which was a half rack of ribs and an all dark meat 1/2 'rotisserie' chicken, wasn't good at all. The meat was overcooked and dry, and no amount of sauce would overcome this. The fries were good, along with the local beer on tap. A trip to the washroom easily knocked off a star, quite disgusting. For a trip back in time and some so-so food, head on over here.

I haven't seen a Casey's for 20 years I had no idea there was still some around. The food was amazing and the service was even better! Its worth the drive to TIMMINS! Came back to try more menu items! My son loved his buffalo chicken wrap and poutine, my wife loved her club sandwich on multigrain with poutine. I unfortunately was not so lucky, I tried their new chicken soft tacos and the chicken was SO, SO incredibly dry that I couldn't even eat the 2nd taco! I'm sure glad I didn't get the 4 tacos! Still a good restaurant and we'll be back, but definitely not for the tacos.

Although my steak was tasty portion of it was cold, I could tell it sat in the expo for a bit. I had the 12oz new york with shrimp and mushrooms added. Your veg was raw and not seasoned, not even a garlic butter was used.nnMy wife had a chicken Parm. The noodles didn't sit in the water long enough, they were ice cold. Having worked in kitchens for many years, for the money we paid, this was disappointing. I still tipped my server 20% as it wasn't her fault. I did tell her about the pasta, and she took my wife's drink off. For the reasons above, I don't think I'll be back.

Updated smaller menu is so nice! Makes it easy to choose and makes the waiters much more confident in what they serve. Delicious burgers. Satisfying portion sizes.

Nice restaurant. The portions are good for the value. The soup is excellent. Friendly staff. Good service.
