TL;DR: food was great overall, service not as much. Cocktail menu is mostly based on margaritas, but with nice twists and variations. Wine "list" was very short and they only ended up having one available. We shared some dumpling nachos and the "KFC" mushroom-based "chicken" to start with. These were a great way to get things rolling, especially the fried mushroom. Next, we had tacos. Although good, I found that the Al Pastor I ordered were so seasoned/spiced that you couldn't tell what else you were eating, and made any drink unenjoyable. Something else to note: most dishes were great in taste, but lacking protein. The kitchen closed while we were still there, so dessert was unfortunately limited to one option. The brownies were good, but not as original as the rest of the menu. Now for service. We had to wait a few times despite the place not being crowded, our request for a bottle of wine was forgotten and mostly, once our dinner was over, no one would come by or even look at us for half an hour, when we wanted the bill. The only other table remaining at that time looked like they were also waiting for the bill for a long time. Staff was more focused on their phones.
I haven’t been to many vegan restaurants but this is by far my favourite one. The dishes are very creative and beautifully presented. How can they make mushroom taste and feel like chicken? This place can! Oh and the drinks are bomb+++
The best 5 course meal I have ever had! Meticulous attention to detail, fresh ingredients, flavorful pairings, impeccable attention to service. The master chef came out to tell us about each course. So much love went into all the creations! Well worth the experience.
Ordered takeout from this place after browsing for some vegan options. I had high expectations for this restaurant since it is run by the same people from sushi momo. We ordered a few tacos, the fried chicken and the calamari. The fired chicken and calamari were spot on and the sauce that came with it was amazing! I really enjoyed all the dishes and couldn’t believe that it wasn’t real meat. My favourite tacos were the Al pastor, so I would recommend getting those. The mole taco and chorizo tacos were quite spicy but still had a good flavour. All the tacos come with different condiments and sauces such as cheese, pomegranates, pickled onions and sour cream. The only downside is that the portions were a little small and wished that they gave more tortillas since we had some leftover filling. Would come again if I want a delicious and original vegan option.
The first thing I noticed was the decor in the restaurant. It was very nice and gave a cozy vibe to the place. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the Napoles tacos and/or the nuggets. It is a great Mexican vegan restaurant! The drinks were all very good as well.
Party of 6 at 7pm on a Saturday - We ordered the majority of the appetizers, half the tacos and a few specialties. We also took a mix of cocktails, mocktails and beer. They have nice plates and glassware, decent seating and good atmosphere for a Saturday night. I had a papaya and mango salad to start and some chorizo tacos on blue corn tortillas after - quite delicious all around. My mocktail sunrise was very flavourful, slightly sweet to my taste but I could have just put a bit of lime in. Service was good, everything came out in the right order and with good spacing between our courses. The kitchen is semi open, they were doing an excellent job the tables around us all seemed happy too. Vegetarian options: It vegan
Small restaurant with a beautiful decor. Service was 5/5. Our waitress explained the drinks and the plates really well. Food was amazing. If you want to discover new flavours, go there!
the truffles fries that come with “KFC” are really gassy. Mole verde tacos also slapped. Al Pastor we’re a bitttt too sweet. Overall, really good. The guava cucumber gin cocktail smacks, super refreshing.
Outstanding and really flavorful vegan food! We ordered everything from their specials menu - Kitoro, Mexico Lindo and Plancha Mexicaine....everything was unique and bursting with flavors. Plancha Mexicaine is a charturie board and a must try!
Great vegan food! Beef tartare tasted just like the real thing. The calamari was incredible, I would definitely come back just for that. The tacos were good but similar to the flavours of the sister sushi momo restaurant. The mocktail was yummy and tasted like a fresh smoothie. Overall good experience if you’re looking for vegan food.
