It was absolutely delicious. One of the best all you can eat places if not the best. The servers are so nice and attentive. They bring you food so quickly after ordering too. I love how many options they had for desserts, many to pick from. A lot of variety and just in general everything was so delicious. Definitely coming back again loved my experience here and the food. 1000000/10 must go
The sushi were the best part! They were big, filling and unlimited! Absolutely loved this place. The service was amazing and you're even allowed to get your own wine! Just brace yourself before you get the grilled salmon, I personally did not enjoy as much as the other dishes. The Schezuan shrimp was just covered in sauce, I believe they could've done better. The general tao was a bit chewy but flavorful, the skewers were one of the best I've ever had, so tender, juicy and absolutely nailed them. Even t though the place was busy, everything was on point. I loved it here and I would definitely come back!
Let's keep it real. Instagram definitely OVER hyped this all you can eat sushi place 100%. That being said, that's out of the restaurants control so it's not their fault. I came into this dining experience with expectations set high from online. Venue was great, though for some reason it was fairly hot inside the restaurant, not a big deal tho. Service was perfect, absolutely no complaints. Presentation was lovely, definitely a bit more effort was put into presentation here compared to other all you can eat sushi places. What really disappointed me was the taste, it was...okay. Nothing was great! And nothing was bad, it was just okay. And for okay sushi, you can definitely look elsewhere. To be fair, all you can eat sushi is an extremely competitive market right now, so I completely understand. But at the same time, it being a saturated market means there are other options that provide more for less. To finish off, Takumi Sushi offers a wonderful dining experience and great service with good tasting sushi and beautiful presentations. Perfect for a date nights to getting a group of friends together to enjoy a nice feast.
Good price quality ratio. You can order multiple times until you are full, served quickly. 40-50$ per person with taxes and tips. The only thing I didn’t like is toilet, you need to take a key to open the door.
Check out this hidden gem located on the corner of ST-Denis and Sherbrooke. This Asian sushi and fusion buffet has a great ambiance and taken care by the friendly staffs and owner. Incredible variety of all-you-can-eat menu that has more than just sushi. Everything is fresh and impeccably delicious with vivid and creative presentation! Fast service! Highly recommended!
Experience: I’ve been to Takumi Sushi with a big group 9 people and a small group 3 people and I definitely recommend coming in a small group. My first time there the sushi was pretty good. Unfortunately we had a lot of wait time. We waited around 30 minutes to receive our order. My second time there we received our orders pretty fast but the sushi rolls weren’t as good as the first time. I wish they could use tablets instead of pen and paper because it takes time for the waiters to come take our papers when we are ready ordering with a tablet is also more fun. Food: There’s a big variety of maki rolls which is nice. Sashimi is pretty decent, I just wish it was a bit colder. I have to admit I really like their tuna nigiri. Other types of nigiri are good, I didn’t like the torched salmon so much but my friends found it really good. I didn’t try the tempura or other dishes because I go there for the sushi. Food presentation is very nice! Environment: The restaurant is very nice, they even have a terrace. I recommend getting a window seat! The bathroom is kinda in a weird location but I don’t mind it. Staff: Overall everyone is super nice. I wish I knew their names to give them a s/o. Some of them are easy to talk to and they give good recommendations. One small thing occurred on my second visit, I had reserved for 5pm but the waitress changed my reservation to 7:30pm. I didn’t understand why but I’m not mad or anything because she gave us a table with no problem!
My experience at Takumi Sushi was not worth the drive from the west island I didn't find they had a big variety of sushi, the ones we had were still good and the presentation is very nice but nothing special honestly We did not enjoy the hot meals nor the seaweeds salad The Hot and Sour soup was very good though Our waiter was very nice, the service was quick. I would make the trip again though
FOOD: tasty and good looking food served on time but they forgot our soup PRICE: 42.55$ per person for the sushi buffet SERVICE: AJ the waiter who served us was so nice, we asked him to take photo of us and he did it in a lovely way. Also in the front door they welcomed us and took us to our table by giving us option to choose between 2 spots HYGIENE: I didn’t have time to check but looks okay ENVIRONMENT: obviously the restaurant is busy which is a sign that their business is doing well, and employees are all working hard THIS IS ALI NOOR & THIS IS MY REVIEW
First time here! It is an all you can eat place. Kind staff. Affordable sushi restaurant with generous pieces and good taste. The tempura is too oily. Oh and I don't recommend the poulet teriyaki.
Definitely a good sushi spot in Montréal. Miso soup felt like home, skewers were amazing especially the shrimps and even the cheese sticks were delicious. Sushis on the other hand is the reason I did not give them 5 stars. They are great but most of them taste the same. My favorites were Sakura and the California. Dragon eye was their only fried roll and tasted okay
