Story

Established in 1978 by an Italian Immigrant, Enrico Caruso Fine Tailoring is a distinguished/respected/recognized name in the world of men’s fashion and is one of the last in a dying trade of hand-made-tailoring.

The only family operated tailor shop in the city, Enrico Caruso specializes in hand-made-suits and stocks an extensive collection of off-the rack suits including famous brand names.

We work with only the most exclusive fabrics and tailor suits using only the finest silks and wools imported from around the world. We operate our store like a boutique at a price you can afford.

We offer off-site consultations and fittings at a location convenient for you because we know how valuable your time is.

Caruso delivers exceptional quality, in both product and experience. Walking in, you immediately feel the passion the owners have for the customer and the business - fine tailoring and style - without being pretentious.  The small details create a lasting impression: they altered the jeans right when I bought them, ironed the shirt I purchased, and offered an espresso while I waited I was only there for a short period.  The quality of the clothing, tailoring, and cost, delivers exceptional value. My biggest regret is living in the area for 12 years and not visiting until now. It'll be my first stop for jeans, dress shirts, blazers and custom suits going forward. Thanks to the whole family for welcoming me into your business.

Caruso's is the real deal. I got referred to them through a friend for a custom suit for my wedding. From the moment I walked in, Victor and Frank treated me like family. They took incredible care to ensure we picked out the right fabric and design. The experience is top notch, we did multiple fittings to ensure the suit fit perfect.  Caruso's is a hidden gem on the Danforth and I plan to work with them again very soon.

What can I say, Caruso's are as professional and high quality as they come. Simply put, they know how to dress a man.  I've been dealing with Victor since I moved to Toronto based on a referral, and I haven't worked with anyone since. I haven't needed to. The suits, whether bespoke or custom, wouldn't look out of place at even the fanciest of galas, with the only thing uncomfortable about them is how little you pay for them. Honestly, I usually leave feeling like I've ripped Caruso off, but they operate on the old-school mentality of growing the business by word of mouth from satisfied clientele rather than through price gouging. The BEST in the business. I have to start with that because not only is the quality of the suit the BEST, but the quality of service from the family is even better. I came to Carusos on a referral from a friend to have a BESPOKE Tuxedo made for my wedding. I brought an image from a picture I saw on instagram - a custom made jacket and double breasted vest with fine silk detailing outline. Vic and Father Caruso made the PERFECT suit and brought the image I had into reality. I thought you could only get something like this in designer shops in Italy or France, but they did it here. They customized every last detail with such precision and care to match my very specific vision. No detail is spared with them and being in the shop feels like the old school friendships and banter between Tailor and Client you think only exists in movies. A truly great experience with a product that is unmatched. I've had other suits made and they don't even compare. The father is a legend and Vic gets every detail you will ask for, he's a perfectionist.
