Carlington Coffee House

Super cute café. We got the blue tea, lemonade, jalapeño jelly bagel, and the blueberry muffin. In my humble opinion, this was the best blueberry muffin I’ve had in Ottawa. We asked if they had any snacks that were “not too sweet” for the kids and this was their suggestion. Indeed, it was not too sweet the highest compliment coming from an Asian re: pastries, had a very satisfying muffin-top crust, and was LOADED with blueberries inside. We happened to be there for the 6pm live music hour on Saturday. The music and the intros to the songs were so heartwarming. Our 5yo played on the climbing structure as we enjoyed our drinks and snacks while flipping through Edible Ottawa. Love the garden and play structure setup. Eco-friendly garbage sorting area. Clean washroom. Really enjoyed our visit. 10/10 would recommend, especially for families with little kids.

The place was very pleasent. The outdoor seating is very good, felt like I was in a park. They have indoor seating too. I had mocha and capuchino here and they were good. Average on price. The staff was nice but took a bit of time to get the coffee. The staff made cute drawings on the cup holder and that was very nice of her. Parking wasn't available but we could park in the church parking next to the cafe. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible inside the building. But could order from outside also.

Carlington Coffee House is a quaint little coffee shop and kind of a cute spot for a quick couples commitment. They have an array of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drink options included coffee, tea, beer, and more. They boast a few fine sandwiches which we really enjoyed, as well as plenty of pastry options. Located in an old home and refurbished to be a unique cafe with quiet nooks and a beautiful zen style back patio, this retrofitted coffee shop is unlike any other coffee shop I've ever been to. The staff was informative and friendly, the cafe has a sort of points system that rewards frequent customers if you so choose, and there is parking on the street in front of the building. I found the price to be a bit high for my taste, but it didn't scare me away. A great place for meet-cutes, family outings, or even a business lunch. Thanks to the staff for having us, I'll be back again soon for more.

This charming coffee house is a great place for a quick lunch, or better yet, to relax in their patio and chat with friends. My first time visiting I ordered online and was able to pick up when I arrived, everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I've come back again with friends and family and plan to come back more. Each time the service was excellent, staff friendly and patient, and food & drinks to perfection!

*Better call before going just to be sure that they are actually open* Absolutely love the vibe of the place. Good coffee. Quick service. Wonderful staff and an amazing neighbourhood. I have a feeling I might end up becoming a regular here : Limited menu, but they are great at whatever serving. They have both indoor and patio seating. They also serve alcohol

Pumpkin spice latte was absolutely delicious. The blueberry oat scone was moist, but in my opinion was a bit lacking in flavour I would have liked it either sweeter or more savoury. This place is a solid café in an area that’s really lacking in coffee shops!

Cappuccino was amazing. Perfect texture and amazing flavour. Vibe was very cozy. Would recommend!

Absolutely delicious coffee, muffins and bagels. Staff was very polite. VERY nice having a premium coffee house in this part of town, close to Central Park. If you haven't tried this place yet, what are you waiting for?! Definitely a must try!

This place is awesome! Friendly staff, amazing coffee. Neat concept and location! Wish we had a Coffee House like this in our home city, we'd be there all the time!

A great little neighbourhood cafe. Reasonable hours. Friendly service. There’s always a bottle of hand sanitizer at the cashier and there’s touch-free payment. Really nice outdoor seating area as well. Can’t wait until they can open doors for indoor seating again and for them to open the backyard for seating next summer.
