Without saying anything about the group fun you have with friends, the board game cafe is a great place to go for an evening with friends. Extremely accomadating and friendly staff it's always a pleasure coming back they make you feel welcome and they bring with them a sense of comfort where there your friend and you almost just wanna go back and say hi! There snacks are enjoyable and they serve bottled beer which are usually stuff you wouldn't typically find at a generic bar so it forces you to try new and exciting drinks which I haven't had one i hated yet so it's a nest little experience. Board games USUALLY have all the pieces, it's rare when you can't play the game and they also have an incredible selection to choose from as well as comfortable sofas and decent chairs to lounge in while you play your games. My friends and I enjoy coming here every month or two and it's a place I will continue bringing my business to!

Cards is one of Grande Prairies best venues for a fun night out for couples and groups large or small. SPECIALIZING in board games, Cards offers a huge selection, enhanced by a fantastically simple menu of fun and very reasonably priced foods and beverages. Cards caters to individuals and groups of all ages from early teens to seniors and can comfortably host parties of up to 20 with advance notice. Cards also offers a selection of wines and craft beers and ales. So?...try something different?...stop by Cards...ask the AMAZING STAFF to suggest a game...and give it a try!...Lol...there are literally hundreds of games....have FUN!!!

Amazing coffee! Phil and Sebastiens quality without the price. Good comfort food, fantastic selection of both games and alcohol, and most of all, AMAZING service! The staff and owners are super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I've been to a few of the best board game cafes in a few cities, and they don't compare to Cards, it's my single favourite thing about this city.

Really neat "little" place. First of all, they feature a not insubstantial selection of new and classic board games, a nice array of craft beers (yes, they have a liquor license), and coffee drinks that are definitely pretty decent. While I certainly wouldn't spend hours here the way I would at any other establishment (unless I went in to play some games), the vibe is also really laid back. And though I can't really speak for most of their food menu items they do have a great selection of homemade baked goods. Also, if you ask for some gummi bears, they serve them to you in an espresso cup.

Just love this place! The atmosphere and the people who work here are amazing. There are more games than you can imagine, and the prices are fair.
