The seafood chowder was amazing but expensive. Service seemed to bit slownAs for my 2 piece pickerel fish and chips disappointing as there seem to be more batter and fish and when I got back to where I was staying I 2as still hungry differently not worth the 28.95 spent. My wife had there short and scallops with cod same thing . The reason I went here is that people praised how big the portion were and h9w good it was the biggest disappointment for me they dontveven make therecown tarter sauce. I can say if I'm ever back in this area I won't probably go back there and eat price was OK. Maybe I just had a bad experience.
Used to be a great place when Captain Ken ran it. Fish has too much batter which makes it undercooked and soggy. We were 2 of 6 people on a Saturday evening, enough said.
My husband and I went to Captain Ken’s for the first time Friday night. I ordered the halibut and chips and he got the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. My fish was delicious; fresh, lightly battered and a large portion. The French fries were also amazing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. We saw the chicken souvlaki meal with Greek salad leaving the kitchen and it looked really great too! Very homey feel to the restaurant and the staff were very polite. We will definitely be back!
Great service and even better food! Huge place, deceiving from front entrance. Fish and chips were great and I was lucky enough to have schnitzel!
Stopped in to grab some takeout on the way home from work. Everything was ready and well packaged by the time they estimated. Large portions and well prepared. Reasonable prices made for a great spot to bring home a meal for the family. Noticed the restaurant was very well setup for dine in, will have to try that next time.
