Canffle

Interesting concept: Croissant waffle. Ordered: Croffle club sandwich, salmon Benny, the classic dessert. Club sandwich was drool worthy. The paring of the sweet and savory was delicious. Salmon Benny was mediocre, didn’t really do it for me, tasted like it was missing a flavour “punch”. The Classic dessert was pretty good too. Pay upfront service, self-serve style sit down restaurant. Decent, would go back for the club sandwich but wouldn’t be rushing back there. Give it a try !

Found this amazing breakfast / brunch through online ordering. Finally experienced dining in, and was not disappointed!!! Food tastes so much better fresh, rather than a 20 minute delivery time. Croissant + Waffle mix make for a delicious Croffle! Hot/Ice beverages in a can... brilliant!

Food is very good. Particularly liked the grapefruit tea. Real fruit and fiber! Bathroom was clean, has wifi. Only does real coffee, and it tastes good. Had one of the sandwich waffles and the big breakfast, both top notch. Why not 5 stars? Ambience wasn't quite right, something missing. My guest asked for side maple syrup, yes they had it.

Delicious flavors! Food was great! The croffles were light, fluffy, and perfect as bread for a massive club sandwich or base under something sweet. Drinks were well done as well. The mocha I had hit the spot. Location is great because it's right on Kingsway, and there's a decent amount of free street parking there. Service was kind and helpful. It's a mix between a cafe and a restaurant, so you don't expect a dedicated server. You order at the table but pay at the counter. The atmosphere was the one thing that felt somewhat lacking, but after talking about it with my partner, it seems simple so that people don't stay around too long. After all, this place doesn't have too many tables. All in all, it's a really nice spot, and I loved my coffee club sandwich. So good!

Tried the brunch here and eh it was actually good. I personally love it so much especially the croffle. The waffle was okay but with the combination with melts it was awesome. For the mochi based waffle, it was good to make it for the sweet waffle. I really recommend this place for brunch! Cheers! But its just the place is always foggy and cold somehow so i would recommend using your jacket while eating and get ready for your hair to smell bad after coming here.

My new favorite go to brunch place! It has nice modern cafe vibes. The waffles are delicious! The portions are generous, definitely go here if you are looking for a hearty brunch place. We ordered the Ben's breakfast and Salmon Benny and both dishes did not disappoint! We chose the mochi waffles and the chew and taste were amazing! Can't wait to go back

This place was okay, I ordered their deluxe pizza through a meal delivery app. In terms of presentation, it might be better to separate the salad from the pizza. When I open the pizza box the salad had been squished, and the salad sauce was spread around the box. Their deluxe pizza was okay, definitely has a homemade taste to it. One thing I noticed was that the pizza s very sweet. My guess is the sauce or waffle has sugar, this isn't my style, I probably wouldn't order their pizza again if I went back.

It was fine experience. It's a self service waffle joint with some interesting dishes. The croffle is just a croissant that's been put in a waffle iron, I had the Lotus croffle and I wasn't really into it. Croissants are tasty because of their crispy exterior and airy interior, flattening them in an iron takes away all of that. The Norwegian Brown Cheese Waffle was nicely crispy and I liked the cheese. My favourite dish was the Salmon Benny with mochi waffle, the waffle had an interesting chew that worked well.

I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was, I had no expectations coming in. The staff was patient and there's a wide variety to choose from. Came with 3 friends and everyone enjoyed their food. For the waffles you can choose brussel, croffle croissant and Waffle or mochi. We were too full to try the sweet ones but we'll be back for sure. I was excited to try a new breakfast option in my neighborhood. Ordered the egg Droffle expecting a savory egg dish. Dish came with a sweet sauce on it that was not mentioned on the menu. They were nice enough to make me a replacement without the sweet sauce. I would highly recommend added all ingredients and sauces to item descriptions on the menu to avoid confusion for your guests. I will visit again but I hope for better communication on the item descriptions on the menu.
