They had a very delicious London Fog, Chai and Butter Cake! I was pleasantly surprised and happy to have tried this great, little cafe! Will definitely be back.
Candid is newer to the third wave coffee scene in Edmonton relatively speaking, but already killing it! Coffees are fun and adventurous, and I was told they often like to try to bring in a super-special coffee like a geisha. The atmosphere in the coffee shop is very relaxing with the huge windows and comfy furniture as well.
Thoroughly enjoyed visiting Candid! They have a beautiful upstairs seating area with hip couches and cool rugs. The staff were great and very helpful. The cinnamon knot and Brie sandwich were just lick your lips delicious
Great Americano! Came on the YEG CoffeePass. WiFi provided but quite slow.
I usually try to pick up my beans here and I can't recommend them enough! The coffee is really amazing, very easy to drink black and full of tasting notes. The cafe itself is cozy and welcoming :
Great spot for quality coffee and home made treats. Owner is always friendly and the place is clean and airy. Love coming here for coffee meetings as it is more relaxed that other coffees and the coffee is better.
Had a delicious coffee in this beautiful space on the day they were setting up their new roaster that just arrived. Visiting from Vancouver area, and impressed! All the best, Candid!
An incomplete list of things I find excellent at this cafe. Coffee, service, seating, ambient music, parking, the pour over options, the food options while limited are 10/10, washrooms. And much more, you simply must go
I work moments away from Candid and am lucky enough to call myself a frequent customer. This, in my opinion, is the best possible choice for coffee-lovers in Edmonton. Levi takes the time to answer all of my questions and provides advice on brewing techniques. He also supplies about 80% of my beans and has done for well over a year now. In that time, I haven't been dissatisfied in any way by the beans he roasts on site. Definitely visit his store as soon as you can!
Really great vibes, delicious coffee, and friendly service. I love the privacy you get upstairs.
