I don’t review coffee shops too frequently, but ACE lands a punch with its exceptional pourovers that are literally the same price as their drips. Their technique is methodical and painstaking but the end product I ordered the No 8 is sublime- that wonderful balance of indulgently aromatic and velvety, brightened by subtle tones of brown sugar and honey. And of course, there’s the space the coffee shop occupies… which probably scores for hygge… i imagine, the coziest of places to drink coffee and do work during the Edmonton winters
The space alone warrants a visit. Quality of the coffee is consistent, as is the customer service. Great place to find coffee gear as well.
The group at Ace is beyond baristas. They are Coffee Sommeliers in the industry. Love the ambiance of their home, and the coffee they serve. Excellent product!
I’m lucky to live just a few doors away from this awesome place. The location itself is clean and roomy. Good coffee, although I am yet to branch out of my normal americano.
Great spot in Ritchie! I came here one day and did a little bit of work on my laptop. Great little doughnuts which are the perfect size. Not too sweet. I really liked their French Press which is enough for two people. Nice little spot
Open on weekends only. The coffee tastes really good. Nice and wide area to spend some time alone, with friends or your infant. The coffee tables are made of wood in a super clean and nice decor. The room next the coffee shop has lots of espresso machine that you can admire so as the roasting room. It’s heaven for coffee lovers.

ACE has such a wonderful atmosphere and delicious espresso. Their menu is simple and well put together. This is a great place to spend a few hours visiting with friends or doing homework. They have a great patio, beautiful plants, and rustic and unique seating. They have clean, gender neutral bathrooms. They have a selection of donuts daily: three cakey donuts brown butter, pistachio, double chocolate, one glazed, and three filled custard, apricot jam, and nutella. ACE also has a good selection of French presses and espresso making products.
Some of the best coffee in Edmonton though steeply priced. Love the space and pastry options, and enjoy coming in on weekends as a treat.
Like it. Another solid coffee place in Edmonton. They also sell high end espresso machines here mostly from Italy. It's not always open, but they do roast their own beans here. That's always a plus. If I'm not mistaken, I think Coffee Bureau on Jasper Ave uses their beans.
