Canal House Restaurant

We stopped at the Canal House on a recommendation and we couldn't have been happier. The Juicy Lucy Burger was outstanding! Service was very quick and very friendly. My girls even enjoyed playing in the arcade while they waited for their food.

Went there -got seated with a bowl of popcorn and 2 menus and that was all the service we got for the next 1/2 hour. None of the waitresses bothered to come & ask what we wanted to drink, did not bring any water, silverware or took our order. They were too busy laughing it up with some guys a few tables away. It was broasted chicken night 9/9/15 and it was our first time there and had heard the food was good, however we'll never know since none of the 4, 5 or how many waitresses were working that night could mosey on over & simply do their job and at least take a drink order! My husband & I are still in shock at how we were treated and have never been treated like that in any restaurant. We had time to read the entire history of the restaurant on the menu and they still hadn't come over. Unbelievable! So, we left and we were still famished and so we went to the Ranch House and had a great dinner!

Chicken was terrible, potatoe was gummy. Will not go back.
