I visited today with my 13 year old son. Both of us were very impressed with the exhibits and planes. A lot of Canadian Air Force war effort information that is easy to follow and understand. Passionate and enthusiastic volunteers! We plan to go back to watch some flights and spend more time looking at the planes, studying the information.

I lived nearby this place most of my life and always said I would go but never did. Then I retired and moved to Alberta and I have been here 3 times since and am coming again around Christmas 2017. It is a great place to visit, always worth the price of admission and then some. I will visit every time I am back in Ontario, can't get enough.

Amazing to be able to see and touch these planes and learn about war time efforts. Great remembrance day ceremony. Well planned and very well attended. Thanks to all who put this together to show our veterans we appreciate everything they did and we will not forget.

I had a great time at the Warplane Museum. The admission was reasonably priced and there is a lot of stuff to see. They have interesting displays on the history of the Air Force in Canada and a good number of planes on display. They also have a place to get food and drinks, they even serve beer. There is also a flight simulator, if you call ahead and book a slot the museum admission is included in the cost of the "mission". It's also close to the Hamilton airport, you could even check it out before a flight.

I've been to many aviation museums, but the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is exceptional and is now on my must-return list. I could have spent several hours there. The aircraft collection is extremely good, particularly because all but one of the aircraft (that I noted) have Canadian histories. The fact that many of them are in flying condition and rides can be purchased in them blows my mind, and is one of the reasons that I'll find a way to get back there from the Yukon. The guides are also notably good, and I encourage everyone to ask for one (we had two at various times).
