Canadian Tire

Beginning of March had an emergency and had to use this location for new tires. Had 4 new tires installed. Noticed later at home that all 4 rims were scratched up with one more severe with a couple of gouges. Went back the next day to address this. Staff had me text photos instead of coming out to look at the rims. Staff said she would speak with manager and show the photos. A couple of weeks went by and didn't hear from them. Texted the number I sent the photos to and was told process takes time to review camera footage. Haven't heard from them since. Don't use this location for automotive services. I won't ever again. Nor will my family and friends.nnUpdate 4/25/2024 - called the number they replied with here and their corporate said someone would call. Was called by automotive manager of the store two weeks ago. Had me bring the car in for them to look over. Haven't heard from anyone since.

Brought car in for a safety. Made appointment for 8 am and told to arrive 15 minutes early. They didn’t bring car in till 837 am. At 1030 am still sitting on hoist. Asked at desk and was told a technician would come and talk to me. Shortly after that it was parked outside. No technician spoke to me and received car at 1054am. Extremely poor communication and overall experience. Would joy recommend this garage. 3 hour wait for 1/2 of work.

I have bought many items in past from here with good service. However, this time the experience during buying Ice skates was not as per high standards we expect from Canadian Tire. The ice skates have been placed on high racks where customers cannot access them and it requires store associate to bring them down. When we requested for skates for a particular size, we were told to tell the exact brand and location of product by searching it on the store website and do online research. We need to try skates before we can decide on a specific type and in past we also got good suggestions from the store to help us. Would request the management to either place skates on accessible locations if the intent is only self service or the associates should be more helpful.
