Canadian Tire

The store itself is large and well organized, but the reason it gets 2 stars is because of the checkout experience. They have self checkouts but they are almost always closed, which wouldn’t be a problem if the cashes were adequately staffed. However, they almost never have more than 2 cashes open at once - I have never seen more than 3 open even during peak periods. Overall, the store itself is good - but the understaffing and the ridiculousness of having self checkouts that are closed 95% of the time makes this a store I try to avoid.

If you have any automotive-related issues, I would strongly recommend avoiding this store. After waiting 3–4 hours for my appointment, I was called and told they didn’t have any mechanics available to repair my car. Instead of receiving the service I booked, I was simply asked to leave with my vehicle. This is completely unacceptable, especially after such a long wait.nnI spoke with customer service afterward, and they offered me a $25 gift card as compensation. I declined the gift card because I didn’t feel it adequately compensated me for the time, inconvenience, and poor customer service I experienced.nnBased on my experience, I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Without a doubt the most disorganized Canadian Tire location I’ve ever set foot in. Seasonal is a complete mess, many items with no price or in a state of disarray. Came with a list of six items to purchase, and despite all showing as “in stock” on their website, I could find only one of them, the staff had no idea either. Have never had this type of issue with the other two local stores. They desperately need someone to overhaul that store.

Waited 45 mins to buy one thing. They wouldn't even open the cage it was in. Do not go to any CT just use Amazon. It's way faster and you don't have to drive anywhere. That's were I'm getting all my tools and shop consumables from now on.

This store seems incredibly disorganized. I have found the staff to be relatively friendly but unhelpful and under-trained. More than once I’ve ordered items for pick up and needed to cancel because items can’t be located or are missing. Frustrating to deal with so I will be shopping elsewhere when possible.
