I shop at this location for many things. I always have friendly,helpful service. Great product with reasonable pricing. One thing that would change my rating to a 5 star would be a better lumber yard setup. Definitely hire more people for that department.

Can’t seem to find a contact link for this store but I really wanted to thank the tall young fellow who cut the 3 SPF 2x4s to fit in my tiny car. The main saw was unfortunately broken. Normally I’d have asked for a hand saw and done it myself. That day, however, I was having considerable difficulty with walking and could not have done it. I had to leave to come back another day. This young man is “valiant” too much an adjective to use? chased me down and did the cutting on another saw that was probably not designed for cross cuts. Very grateful to him.

Needs some serious management. I visited this location on several occasions because it's the only one ON THE AVALON. I encourage the management here to visit some ontario stores and see how the aisles are always properly cleared so customers can safely navigate them. Oh and if you block a lane with equipment such as tow motors you are supposed to by Law close the aisle with a gate or some other form of proper lane block. this was not done and many aisles were blocked with what appeared to be attempted shelf stocking I guess. Then the whole self checkout being forced upon me is disgusting! If I have to work for Home depot to check out my merchandise I expect to be paid! They closed all of the checkouts with employees and forced customers to struggle with self check out. I witnessed several non tech savvy customers become highly frustrated. This is not acceptable anytime anywhere. HOMEDEPOT ST JOHNS YOU HAVE WORK TO DO TO CHANGE THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!

Great selection with friendly, knowledge staff. I like that the website can tell you if an item is in stock and where to find it in store. This saves a lot of time, or the need to ask an employee where to find something.

Worst customer service experience from a Home Depot. We called a head to make sure our return was arranged. Took over an hour and 3 employees while we couldn’t do anything but entertain the toddlers we had with us. Over 6 hours in Home Depot this week between 2 orders that was ready a head of time, and this would have only took me 2 hours at any other locations I have visited.

I've been building a house for about 13 months now and made a huge mistake in making Home Depot st johns my go to supplier. Ive had huge delays in my project because of this company, ie wrong kitchen cabinets ordered, damaged cabinets, flooring sold after an employee said it was there waiting for me. i could go on. don't get me wrong this store has some great employees, but the ratio isn't high enough to do business with. Do Your Self a favor, if your looking for a few items sure shop here it will only take an hour, if your placing an order over $2500 -$10,000 GO Elsewhere or your be there for 5 hours even if you pre-order.

Automated phone system sucks. Order status inquiry sucks. Impossible to reach anyone in the store. Never ordering anything again from Home Depot. Update: received a reply directing me to a Facebook link, or Twitter, or Instagram. Not very helpful. 4 days, 8 calls before I actually get to speak with someone. Added: 4 weeks later, many phone messages left asking for the status of a windows order and can’t get a response. Customer service isn’t terrible, it’s non-existent.

So clean, friendly staff tropical plants out everywhere and so sooo many things for crafting and building and creating.

My usual trips to Home Depot are for plants always an amazing selection! but the staff is always pleasant and the store is always so tidy & well stocked!

Always find more than what I'm looking for when visiting. Seasonal is great. Paint department is really helpful too!
