Canadian Tire

While there may be individual staff here who are different, the management have made this the worst shopping experience I've had. After having several experiences trying to get support on broken items purchased merely hours before, and getting incredibly rude and disinterested staff who simply refused the honor the returns policy on large print right on the wall, I've made it my goal to never shop here.

Management needs to educate their staff regarding the Canadian Scanning Code of Practice where in a shelf price must be honored if lower than price rung up. I'm out 8 bucks and an hours drive for nothing. When I mentioned to the clerk that BY LAW, they must sell me at the lower price, he looked at me like a deer in the headlights and asked the second time for 44 dollars odd for the purchase. No paging of a manager, nothing. Thank you, Melfort for showing me what to expect. Next time I'll go 2 hours out of my way to Humboldt where I should have simply gone the 1st place. Suffice to say, train your staff, I won't EVER be back.

Absolutely dog water of a business, customer service here is a complete dumpster fire. I had a shopping cart full of stuff and was gonna get one more thing and noticed it was all ripped and opened and i asked a lady employee about it and she basically told me kick rocks and figure out myself in a very snappy tone. Left my cart right there and decided you know what? Youre right, i will go shop at coop instead. Dont waste your time here with their already used over priced products

Went in to get a 9 dollar hand tool. Found it behind locked glass. Went to customer service to ask to be let in to grab it. Waited in the isle for 20 minutes with no one showing up. Went back to customer service and told them again. Waited another 10 minutes and ended up leaving because still no one showed up wasted 30 minutes of my time for piss poor customer service and still don't have the tool I went in for. There are other places in melfort that sell tools I recommend going to any of them if you actually want customer service. It's gotten a little better since this original post but still lacking

Everything on sale is NEVER in stock!! Or the clerks say it never came in. Waste of time going here. Not impressed... worse cdn tire store I have ever been to.

This is the closest Canadian Tire to where I live so I order items from here to pick up when I get the time and opportunity to go to Melfort. The store is overcrowded, overstocked, messy, but compared to Canadian Tire Stores I have been to in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Regina, the staff in Melfort have always been extremely polite and helpful when I asked for assistance, have worked hard to find items I need and have been very apologetic when the item was out of stock. I generally order online well in advance to ensure the item is available and this store has never failed to deliver. The employees have always been the most helpful and courteous I have run across which is a lot more important to me than a neat and tidy store.

Horrible online shopping experience. Order for 3 18 kg boxes of cat litter confirmed Thursday Feb 24th for pickup today Fri.Feb 25th. Received email notification that theconfirmed order was cancelled due to items not in stock. Spoke to a supervisor asking if a similar product smaller box could be offered at a similar price point as the larger boxes but was told that was not possible.

Great place to go. Staff is always great and will go out of their way to help you find what your looking for!

Working here must make people miserable. Gerri has no customer service skills and not even sure how she hasn't been fired. Go work in the back if it is such an inconvenience to help customers. Nothing is ever in stock even if it shows up on the website. Avoid this store.
