Very nice and friendly delivery team, but scratched my washer top under the dryer's legs! Discovered damages after they left, check pictures. Bad taste experience after all. Good thing is that two machines are in working order. Update: finally I was able to get partial refund for damages from this company. At least something to cover my expenses to fix it and feel better! Always check your items for damages before signing delivery acceptance papers! Thanks.
I went to the Dufflaw location on Aug 21 looking for appliances. I found a FLOOR MODEL OPEN BOX Range that I liked but as most people will agree needed time to think about it. 1 week later on Aug 28 I went back to purchase the same exact range and the price had jump by over $800. Thinking this was a mistake I asked the sales rep who confirmed that there was a system glitch last week and thats why the price is different. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there wasn't one in, how could there be at least 10 - 15 sales people in with no manager?? I sent customer support an email with pictures as proof and they responded by saying prices can change. This is very alarming that they just change prices out of the blue. Normally for open box items we see price decreases not increases. Since i had proof of the price from last week I thought they would honour it but they did not nor did they offer anything. No one at the store or customer service tried to resolve the issue, or offer any solutions. Very poor customer service. I would avoid this business if you can as this seems like very poor and unethical business practises, usually businesses will honour the price. This same thing happened years ago to my father at this location and again no solution or anything was offered. AGAIN this seems like a very sketchy business. 0 stars if possible…
I am not happy with the service of CAS. The delivery team was very unprofessional and rude. they entered with dirty shoes and with no masks. As I am pregnant it was concerning to me. They left the floor wet and dirty with mud. They brought the machines unboxed. I haven't seen the boxes/ packaging of the machines. how would i know that they didnot bring an open box item? As well, they could have a thin layer of poly-wrap or something to protect from scratch but machines did not have anything on them to protect . They scratched both the washing machine and the dryer. scratches are bad that remove the coat of the machines badly.. which makes it look like we bought a second hand machine. Before payment, the sales rep was like they do everything for their customers. After payment sales rep did not even answered my phones. Customer service was not helpful at all. They did not even apologized or compensate for the damaged dryer.
I have several appliances from CAS now and they are always the best price. Recently my new range was delivered and my fridge broke the NEXT DAY. Salesman Imran sent me links to the ones I was looking for within minutes, managed to still get the best price and have it delivered a month earlier than the best time on all the big box stores.
0 STARS. Stay far away from this company. I ordered a new fridge from Canadian Appliance Source CAS on Jan 7, new fridge arrived on Jan 9 and quickly realized the fridge and freezer were not cold and were not working. I immediately called CAS and they sent a technician to see what the issue was. The technician came 2 weeks later and found that the fridge was leaking refrigerant. I was told he would contact Frigidaire to see when they could get replacement parts and that I would be contacted a week later. 3 weeks go by and I hear nothing from Frigidaire or the technicians company Elite Appliance. In the meantime I was contacting CAS to figure out how they could sell me a broken fridge and refer me to the manufacturer to get a replacement under warranty. In any other scenario this would never happen and I would be able to receive a new unit and have them take the broken unit. I'm now waiting another 2 weeks for the final parts to come in to fix the fridge no replacement unit and CAS and Frigidaire are telling me to just wait on the parts and that a replacement unit is not possible with their policy. Total process time to fix my fridge will end up being 6 weeks. This company does not care about its customers or their experiences with their products. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
A great experience from when we entered the store, purchased our products until we received the delivery on time. Mike Cole our sales associate was knowledgeable and professional. Understood our needs and executed the sale very efficiently. Our delivery today was very well organized. The two gentleman who delivered were professional, polite and took the time to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Appreciated the information on allowing our products to come to room temperature before plugging in. Thank you for a great customer experience. John and Carol
Since we knew the washer dryer combo we were going to purchase, our conversation with the sales rep was short, pleasant and informative. Delivery was great and the “delivery/ removing old unit” cost was cheaper than I thought. The installation/delivery team removed our old stackable units and installed the new unit quick and efficiently. It Should also be mentioned that our house has lots of stairs and tight corners, delivery team was pretty smooth and nimble. They made removing the old unit and bringing in the new unit look easy. Hats off to them as that was my biggest concern. The delivery tracking feature was spot on and the advance text messages 15 minutes before delivery was a nice heads up. All in all, pretty seamless and efficient process form purchase to installation. Washed our first load of laundry with our new Blomberg set and so far so good.
Bought a fridge through CAS. The driver parks in the middle of the road, making life hell for all my neighbours. He then has the audacity to tell me "I don't strip the fridge when it's cold outside". The attitude and sense of entitlement was not lost on me. They bring the fridge in the house and quickly assemble it back, however, when asking to sign the waiver they ask to inspect the fridge. Fridge was assembled and no scratches or dents were observed. I sign the waiver and they leave, however, I turn the lights on and see that my hardwood floor has been scratched badly, see pictures u can clearly see the before picture floor is intact and after picture it is ruined. They then go ahead and decline my claim based on the waiver. The driver made no mention of inspecting the floor or the property. I should have known better since they had no drop sheets and tracked their dirty boots all over my house. If you are buying any appliances through CAS, be warned, your house will be ruined and CAS will not help with your claim. By the end way three months back they delivered a fridge at my elderly mom's condo and not only dented the fridge but also the walls and she should have rejected the delivery but felt intimated to sign the waiver as she had food going to waste. I should have known better not buy through CAS again. Well this was the last time after spending well over 10K in appliances. As long as CAS continues to do business with LTI logistics I will not be supporting them with my hard earned money. Update: CAS reached out without reading this review and assumed I had not filed a property damage form. When I mentioned to them that I did in fact file it within hours of the delivery, CAS rep responded by revealing that the claim had been denied by LTI logistics. Do these people even read the reviews? I explicitly stated that LTI denied the claim and absolved themselves of any responsibility. Another point I had forgotten to mention, when being pressured to sign the delivery slip the driver clearly mentioned I have 48 hours to make any claims. This of course was a blatant lie, a tactic they are well versed in deploying. I can only assume they were aware of the damage and knew exactly how to get away with it. Stay away from CAS and LTI logistics.
Great quick service when my fridge died. Negotiated a great deal. In less that 24 hours I had a new fridge in my kitchen. Quick friendly delivery guys. They had a tracking system so you knew when they would arrive.
We went 1st time, there was not a single customer, just 2 of us. The men staring into the PC, did not even look at you to greet and come after you to inquire and assist. We were checking stuff on our own as we knew what we were looking for. Then when we called for some one, one person came over and gave cursory information like he was after a nap. It was quite shocking to see such a service in Toronto, Canada, where sales men are not interested in selling. Or may be they are not educated with product knowledge. I believe they should be educated with product knowledge, and customer service. :-
