Canada Computers

We're lucky to have a store like this in our area. With all the retail outlets transitioning to Internet sales, it's nice to have a large store like this to actually see the items before buying them. They have a wide range of items; from gaming mouses and chairs to unlocked cellphones and cases. The staff is very accomdating and there are a large amount of them that have expertise in many different fields.

Walked in, front desk asked if I needed anything specific. I was picking it up for a friend and he named exactly where to find it and I was in and out. Staff have been helpful and knowledgeable in the past as well

Terrible experience. My son used all his Christmas money to buy an $800 graphics card only to get it home & it be broken. They would not accept returns on 12/26 or 12/27 so we went back 12/28. They claimed to have never seen such a thing which meant my son had broken it. This is a chinese made flimsy piece of plastic. Their policy is 14 day return and they would not even exchange it for another. My son over the years has spent tens of thousands of $ in this store & 1 other location...but never again. Steer clear.

I purchased a computer on sunday during the black Friday weekend sale. They only had the display model left which is fine with me. While they were restoring it they messed up twice and then ended up blue screening it. They said they would get me a new one from the Richmond hill location and it would take "two to three days". On the Friday I went into the store and they informed me that my computer wouldn't arrived until the following Saturday (keep in mind the Newmarket and Richmond hill locations are a 20 minute drive away from each other). When I asked them if there was another way to get the replacement computer sooner they gave me the broken computer(which they had the whole time) and sent me with it to Richmond hill stating that I just have to "give them the broken pc and they will give you the new one, in and out in five minutes." When I got to the Richmond hill location they informed me I have to wait 24 hours for them to diagnose the problem and refused to call the Newmarket location after I requested they do so seven times (I counted). There is no communication between the employees or between neighbouring locations. This was a very frustrating experience and I'm very sure that myself or my friends and family will not shop there again.

Staff knew exactly where each of the 3 items I was looking for were located. They didn't offer any assistance deciding among the many options however.
