Coming back to Canada has no issue at all and we are reminded to download ArriveCAN app so we don’t get 14-day quarantine next time. The line is always very long and they are always working hard to protect Canada by touching documents from travelers. We should have more respect and comply with the law so everyone can have a better day.

I had accompanied my family friends since they wanted to get some understanding on border immigration with regards to their minor child's visa and we were helped by officer Cosmin I think that was the name!. He was courteous and took time to listen to our questions and provided some great insights. The parents were feeling more relieved and saw light at the end of the tunneI with regards to their situation. We are grateful for the officer's help.

I needed to do flag pole for a new work permit only had a week to do it. Came very early in the day. I went to the US customs where you tell them you're not entering the territory of the US and then walked back to the Canadian border office with the justification paper I was given. Although there was absolutely no one in the waiting lane and 3 agents at the front desk, no one processed my permit saying they were short-staffed and super busy. They made me take an appointment 3 days later, which meant I had to go back again. We're in 2023, it would be great to have an online application to take an appointment or a phone number with someone who's in charge of the appointments. That would save a precious time for everyone. Everyone was polite with me, no issues with that. But it would be great to have a system to make flag pole easier because it's legal and allegedly faster than IRCC online application.

FLAG-POLING, Please note that you are fully entitle to do Flag-poling. If a Canadian border officer stops you tell them that you are doing flag-poling ad which way you need to go. Make sure that no one stop you as this is your legal right. Once passed the Canadian border by walking enter the US border side which about 5 mins walk. Tell the US border that you are doing flag-poling and re-entering Canada. The US will give a paper, return back to Canada border by walk and give the border officer the paper and tell them that you need to apply for permit or make an appointment for permit Work permit PGWP, LMIA, Visa extension ECT...NOT PR. Please gather all the documents. They may not process it right away but they may ask you to come back in few hours. Please note that you CAN do permits at the border. It is faster and better than IRCC.

was pretty ok first time i went to canada. second time that lady was not having it with me for some reason. car was searched, something i forgot about was in there. my fault but still : darn

No problem crossing in took less than 2 mins. I had a very polite office. Just be honest and truthful declare what you have.

PGWP FLAGPOLE 100% RECOMMENDED! I had really great experience to flagpole for my pgwp. I flagpolled a day before and was given appointment for next day. It literally took less than 10 minutes to receive my PGWP. Documents I carried: Graduation Letter Sealed official Transcripts Passport Study Permit GOOD LUCK !!!

Canadian officer with white beard and bald head was so annoying and aggressive. I travelled with my family from USA to Canada. He was so rude to my family and didn’t let us talk. I am going to report him to IRCC

Pretty sad that the Canadian Border Crossing has yet to reopen public washrooms. People are literally going to the bathroom in the bushes. I’ve been across the border 8 or 9 times this year, not once was the bathroom facilities open. Currently sitting in a line up for over 30 minutes, crawling forward every 10 minutes or so, will likely be here for another hour. Get it together folks. I’m tired of covid being an excuse for laziness

Officer got the job done relatively fast, but they really really need to work on their bedside manners. You’d think coming back to the country there’d be at least some politeness from them, but nada —not a bit. A few hours since crossing and I still can’t get over the accusatory tone when asking their routine questions. Better luck next time, I hope. As others have said, though, the American officers on the way to the US are a different story —way nicer and inviting.
