Love this place. Have had our trailer there for over 10 years. Was a lot better a couple years ago when privately owned before the big corporation bought the park, but there is some benefit to this. I have a lot of memories here. The lake is great for fishing and water activities. Only real complaint is the public washrooms and laundry are only open 8am to 5pm. Used to be 24h. You guys need to bring the 24 hour washrooms back. And stop ripping the forest out to put more trailers in.
Hubby and I were guests Aug 13/22. Hubby's brother is a seasonal camper. I give 5 stars because you will only find the most welcoming, most friendly employees and seasonal campers at this RV resort. Every person that pass us, and every person we pass...there is always a wave and a smile. Hubby and I have owned an RV over 10 years, and we have camped at many RV resorts across Ontario as transients, and this place is the most welcoming of all the resorts we visited.
What a beautiful camp ground. Clean and well maintained.
Camped there over thirty years ago for many years. Miss my many friends on 6th the nightly fires, pot luck dinners, dart fishing and golf tournaments, our baseball team, dances, bingo, All good times. Steve Mira, and Rob and family were all great owners. I have not been there in a few years but l am sure it has grown and improved.
This is our fourth season at Duck Lake. Second season under new management. Lots of changes and improvements last year with more, I'm told, to come. Great place, great people.
I have to say it was nice how polite and welcoming the staff and the people who live there were with us. It's a nice place for the family that's for sure. Definitely 5 stars from my end.
My husband and I decided to take a drive up to check this campsite out, despite some of the negative reviews. We were welcomed by Len, who showed us around and took the time to explain all their amazing new plans to this site, even though we didn't make an appointment. We were beyond impressed at what they plan to add to this already amazing location. The new beach area has the most gorgeous views, there's a pool, tennis court and they plan on adding a floating water park on the lake and also adding a dog park. Knowing that they are working hard to clean this place up tells us what kind of a resort it's going to be. The lots are huge and their pricing is not unreasonable at all! Two thumbs up from us and we don't even have a trailer yet!
Absolutly amazing! Wonderful camping right on the lake. New owners Summmerhill Resorts turned it into a more beautiful family run campground with amenities galore! Gonna have many years of camping on DUCK LAKE! You can't go wrong here in kawartha lakes!
Love this place tons for the kids water playground basketball court. Lake for tubing or fishing awesome
It felt like i was entering a village. It had all the benefits of 'the great out doors' with up to date washroom facilities! The regulars will make you feel welcome even before the drinking begins. They have a food building, and a place to dance in the evening if you are inclined. Ample walking space, and spots for fishing. Wow bring a boat!
