A first date isn't the time to eat this. Guests should expect to spend about $15 per person. Prepare for a wait in a queue. There is ample parking in the plaza, despite the fact that the location isn't ideal.

All hot sandwiches offered, no cold cuts All sandwiches made to order so a slight wait. They had Dr Pepper as a drink option which is nice. All female crew, let's hear it for the ladies Sandwich sizes either regular or mini with extra toppings roppini, mushrooms, peppers, cheese, etc at an extra cost. Deluxe version includes lettuce, tomato and mayo. Maybe it's me but it seems many sandwich shops are now charging extra for normally what was included lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc; baahh Ordered the regular steak & onions. Steak was thinly sliced in a tomato base sauce, more like a sliced beef sandwich instead of steak. Nice beefy flavor profile and the onions were firm. Gotta try their other sandwiches meatballs, veal. chicken, eggplant on my next visit to the neighborhood.

Delicious food. The mini is like a regular size so if you're looking for an afternoon lunch - nothing too heavy - it's a great option. Eggplant parm and veal are my favourites. The service was also excellent as well. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and they were all quick, accommodating and helpful above and beyond. Great job management! Vegetarian options: I'm not vegetarian by any means but they make one heck of an eggplant sandwich. Veal can be over-rated if it's your usual go to sandwich. I highly recommend the eggplant parm. It hits the spot and each bite is so satisfying.

Amazing. I tried this place for the first time on Wednesday and I LOVED it. The portion size is big - I ordered the sausage mini, and I was very satisfied with what I got. The food is yummy and homely. Definitely worth another visit.Food: 5/5

bought 590$ worth of sandwiches and olives for my office and wanted mushrooms and peppers on the side so people could use them as desired. No go. They wanted me to order mushrooms and peppers separately on a per sandwich basis. Mushrooms cost $1.65 per bun and peppers are $1.75. I bought 35 sandwiches @ $14.00 each plus tax. So to have mushrooms and peppers on these sandwiches would have cost me an extra $118.50. I recommend ordering elsewhere - the sandwiches were kind of soggy anyway.

Call 30 minutes prior to pick up. No order was processed. Have to wait for 20 minutes. Sandwich didn't taste the same due owner changed. Pasta is uncookedFood: 1/5

Chicken with rapini and onions. Extra sauce. Delicious and never disappointed.

Very impressed. This is really a tried tested and true recipe that has gone unchanged for decades. If you're looking for a hot Italian panini sandwich Done Right made to order I would strongly encourage you to go to California Sandwiches.

Visited yesterday evening, excellent service and the veal sandwich with eggplant and onion topping was fresh and made to perfection. The staff were also very friendly, will definitely continue to visit this location.
