Having Covid and developing bronchitis I called my regular doctor's office. They told me they were already double-booked and were going on vacation and too busy to see me, and said to call the nurse practitioners. There I was promptly told me they too were too busy and I should call the pharmacy ???. So rather desperate, I called the Walk-in clinic and they were SUPERB in helping me out. Dr. Al-Kazely first took the time to personally talk with me on the phone and then later met me in the parking lot to check my lungs. Then he liaised with the pharmacist who prepared the medications and then also came out to my car to deliver the meds to me and give further instructions. AMAZED to find a doctor and medical facility that actually still cares about the people who need them. 5 Stars!!
This place is a joke! The doctor comes in at 11 and leaves by 3pm! What is the point! Or if another location needs a doctor. The only doctor in this clinic goes over to the other location! Every time I go here, I have some kind of issue with the doctor. Whether it’s he’s not there when he should be. Or I’m told the doctor can do something and come back later to find out he doesn’t have the equipment to do something any doctor is able to do!!! And what’s worse, is it doesn’t really require equipment at All! Ridiculous place!
The date changed for some reason but this review is from April 2022 EXTREMELY RUDE RECEPTIONIST on multiple occasions. My pharmacy has been sending faxes to this clinic for the same prescription to be refilled since February 4 in total that have gone unanswered. My pharmacist asked me to call today to advise of the date of each fax. The receptionist started giving insane attitude about “how we don’t refill prescriptions” and that I “have to come in to see the doctor every time” ….. my medication is a pack of 6 pills only for migraines, and my pharmacist has refilled them via fax for at least 4 years now. I calmly explained this to her and she freaked out on me, accused me of having an attitude and shouted GOODBYE!!!!!!! And then hung up on me. I have been suffering with migraines for a month now without my pills and simply just was asking her to have the fax brought to the attention of the doctor. Everytime I call back, she hangs up on me. I ended up calling Pharmasave the pharmacy inside this clinic and spoke to the sweetest man who promptly brought my faxes to the attention of the doctor with an eagerness to help. Thank you pharmasave for being so kind and professional : Caledonia Medical Plex… please pay attention to these reviews about your receptionist and get her some customer service training : Update: I ended up leaving this office and finding a new family doctor because of how often I had negative experiences with the receptionist. I’m now happier than ever with my new clinic! I am a super positive person and VERY easy to please, it really takes a lot for me to have the guts to leave a bad review!
went out of my way to make one of these doctors my actual family doctor and oh boy. he gave me a birth control shot 2 months to early, this DOCTOR didnt even look at my file, and likely didnt even know my name while seeing me. THIS WAS NOT A WALK IN APPOINTMENT EITHER I suffered for months after with extra side effects for literally no reason. this doctor is negligent and the nurses literally have no idea what they're doing. there was a nurse practitioner there named Linda, who actually cared but im sure this place rang her dry too.
Brought my little girl in, and the place was very organized and tidy. Large sized signs reading reasonable requests and provided simple information. The triage nurse today was incredible. She was absolutely lovely, and I can tell she helped my daughter feel more comfortable in a hospital setting while extracting very important information on how to proceed. The wait time was rather long at 4 hrs+ to see a doctor, but with the way our provincial healthcare is being treated by the government, it was no surprise. I thought everyone did their best to see people throughout the day. The doctor who saw us was prompt, honest and specific on what we needed to know and kept it simple yet informative. Good hospital, well done Norfolk General Hospital!
Doctor was insensitive and loosely told me I had already messed up because I was late to get things done or be on things after having just found out I was pregnant.
I arrived at the clinic and was informed that the doctor was late this is a reoccurring theme and they are only open for 5 hours. They only have to see patients for a mere 5 hours a day and the doctor is never there when they open! How does that make sense? Even when you finally do get seen it’s completely inadequate care which you would expect no issues when it’s literally 5 hours of the day. I’ve just never been so flabbergasted at how poorly run a clinic is. I’ve given this clinic multiple tries and never once has been just basic and straight forward. They need to do better all around
If it were possible to give 0 stars I would. If your looking to get sicker this is the doctor to go to. I was throwing up everyday and losing 15 lbs a month from being so sick all the time. Each time I went to him for help he would only recommend I lose weight. Got so disgusted I finally found another family doctor that ended up diagnosing me with Crohn's.... Make sure you google his name, there are many people suing him right now.
Went in for a burn that had become infected. Fast professional and walked out with required antibiotics and treatment plan.
Good pharmacist, horrible doctor. There are 2 doctors at the clinic as soon as you go you will know which one I'm talking about. Don't waste your time here sometimes there isn't even any doctors in the building! Very unprofessional and the doctor is always on vacation
