Cain's Your Independent Grocer

Over pricing by greedy owners. I know several people that hate this place as it forces them to pay a lot more than super store. These people are seniors and the damn gov should force this store to lower prices to reasonable ratio's.

I have shopped @ Safeway and Cooper's/Save on Foods' it is now called. The quality of customer service at those stores are so below par. Thank you to the friendly staff at the check outs and the staff that help them bag!! I appreciate your great service and for this I do my shopping at your store.

It's a grocery store and I never have issues. What more can you want in a grocery store. Their fresh juice is also pretty spot on.

Regular prices on most fruit, veg, and basics are ridiculously overpriced (by about 50% above Superstore prices)... But when we're in a pinch we go here. Anything on sale is usually at a good value, otherwise...Robbery.

I had a bad experience in the store & was very poorly treated for a long time resident of the North Shore. I did not mean to create a scene but became upset when the clerk lied about other people being inline at the time of my attempt to do a return of a product that I did not feel was up to their standard. When I approached CUSTOMER SERVICE desk she was busy talking to a clerk doing cash-out. She came to help me & then called a person from the department who came & said the product wasn't acceptable & to replace it. Well I went & got another package. Took it back to the same clerk & she watched as I opened it (as I was not driving through traffic to take another package back. That's when she informed me that she would not give me my money back nor do anything about the second product being no better than the first. Then she said that she was busy with other customers & didn't get to put my product return in the computer before I opened the second package. She was standing right there as another clerk & come & helped other customer. Poor customer service in my eyes!
