Cafe Romeo is proud to be serving the East Rock area and beyond since 2009. The cafe is a BYOB establishment and one of the few remaining scratch bakeries in New Haven. We offer a range of different drinks, desserts, and dishes. Call for information on our popular catering services! Cafe Romeo caters seven days a week for various events and occasions, fully license to serve liquor.

I love their all products, but the coffee was too thin. But I love this place. They got every goodies we need. Price was acceptable, too. They have wonderful patios. Actually, their grilled vegetables was so delicious and creamy pasta was amazing. Their on site baking garlic bread was just state of art.
The staff here is very nice. The gluten free pizza is quite good and a reasonable price $11 for a 10". I would be really careful if you're celiac though. I've never had an issue with the pizza, but I've gotten cross-contaminated sandwiches before. That's the only reason it's not more stars.
Great food! Their cookies are baked at the cafe and are super good, it’s also a nice place to bring your laptop and get some work done. In the summer there’s outdoor seating. They don’t always have all the food listed on the menu available but what they do have is very tasty.
Even though there aren't so many vegan options, the ones they do have are a hell yeah. So much flavor!
They make a delicious Chipotle chicken wrap panini. They also make a good cappuccino. Most of the breakfast options are good. Their pizza is mediocre, especially compared to a handful of excellent pizzerias within walking distance. There are tables inside and outside during the warmer months.
Today, I placed my order for the first time through Grub Hub. I ordered a coffee light with cream and extra sugar... got it Black no sugar.. I ordered eggs over easy with wheat toast home fries with bacon... and the eggs were not over easy... the food was cold... and lastly I ordered a fresh brownie never got it... Normally, when you place an order the send you little packets of salt and pepper... not ... Then you call the restaurant, and they redirect you to Grub Hub instead of just fixing the order... Not only did I waste my lunch time with no food... Now, I also have to call grub hub to dispute my order... smh... totally not happy with the outcome of this, will not be ordering from here again. Sadly, no stars would've been the best option for this particular experience.
Not the best coffee, but their baked goods are alright. The pizza is quite tasty, but I would avoid the wraps. I've had a few, and they were all very dry
The location is unparalleled, but I've had hit-or-miss experiences with the menu. Drink selection is great. If you're looking for a breakfast pastry, though, you'll probably want to go elsewhere.

I love this place. Great coffee, they make their own pastries and their sandwiches and pizza are excellent. Patio seating in good weather. A great place to meet someone and grab a bite to eat and something to drinnk.
