Cafe Riverview

What a great little spot on 6A in Sandwich! This charming cafe is run by the Riverview School and staffed by many of their students. A perfect spot to get coffee, breakfast or lunch as you explore historic and scenic Old King’s Highway. The food is good, the seats and tables are clean and comfy - as are the restrooms - and there is plenty of easy parking. Don’t forget to stop in and visit the attached thrift shop, also run the the school, for a good selection of gently used clothing and other household items. The shop is super clean and everything is lovingly displayed. Pleasant staff and lots of hidden treasures. A must-visit as you explore the Cape’s quiet north side!

we love to come here on our way back home from the cape every year. the food is very tasty and the staff are enthusiastic, friendly, and eager to please. you can eat outside on the porch or in the sunny dining room and you're welcome to refill your mug of coffee for free as many times as you like. make sure you don't miss out on the homemade cookies (the peanut butter ones really hit the spot). and finally, remember to bask in the warm glow that comes from fulfilling your civic duty to the education of the next generation since local culinary and hospitality students get their real-world experience here.

Good food, nice smallish dining area (seems to be mostly take out esp in the a.m.) Also added benefit of helping Riverview students dealing in a public fronting business.
