For my first time dining at Cactus Club Cafe, I tried their SZECHUAN LETTUCE WRAPS Chicken, their DE NADA LIMONADA, and their BUTTERNUT SQUASH RAVIOLI WITH PRAWNS. It was delicious.nnThe combination of the Chicken and the lettuce was interesting, and the dish itself had a powerful flavour due to its well executed dressing. The DE NADA LIMONADA was very refreshing and served as an excellent beverage pairing for the spicy SZECHUAN LETTUCE WRAPS Chicken.nnAs for the BUTTERNUT SQUASH RAVIOLI WITH PRAWNS, they were delicious, and the presentation was pretty. The attention to detail demonstrated both through the preparation and presentation of the dish was outstanding, and the flavour felt unique.nnRegarding the Atmosphere and the service, the Atmosphere felt classic and upbeat, the staff were stylish, and about the service, it felt welcoming and was efficient.nnI would definitely love to eat again at Cactus Club Cafe either at this location or another.nnThank you for the good experience!
Service: I had 2 diff servers. The older gentleman named Joe I think was super sweet. I really liked him. On my takeout box he also drew the cutest picture and it made my day. He was also consistently filling our water 10/10. The lady I had before him was ok. She was nice but I saw our food was ready and it took her like 5-10min to give it to us. Didn’t really pay attention to us 3/5.nnAmbience: Ok I’m from Toronto so compared to the Sherway Gardens and Downtown Toronto locations, this is definitely very different. Like so different that I thought I was at a different cactus. It’s cute tho. More retro vibes. Lost a point bc the kitchen looked off putting. 4/5nnDrinks: Did not have any.nnFood: This was the only thing I had an issue with. I got a med bowl and the rice I got in it was clumpy. Could tell it was not fresh. Could also tell in the taste. Still good tho but def not fresh like I normally have it. First time experiencing it like this 3/5.nnOverall 4.5/5 just bc the older man was super cute and sweet and i liked the retro vibe. If im back in this city, i don’t think I would particularly wanna go back just bc the food was a bit off
The happy hour smash burger is so good! Ria served us and she is the best. We loved our experience! The prices were really good and I have nothing but great things to say.
A regular Cactus club but love that they kept some of the older decor.nConsistent food quality. Good spot for drinks.
Booked for a big work lunch and they were fantastic, extremely accommodating service was spot on for a table of 13. Our group grew from 12 to 13 no issues at all! Flawless and super professional, our group from out of town was very impressed and it was great from the start! Food as always too notch no issues with special requests and food aversions everything was great!
