So simple yet so good. I got the recommendation from a Venezuelan friend to try this place out. My favourite one we tried was the spinach ricotta over the ham and cheese. We also got different drinks like the coconut one which were sweet and perfect for dessert. The actual desserts they had on display all looked so good and would go back to try other cachitos and a dessert next time.
We needed a quick place for a brunch and this location came up. We were pleasantly surprised. The dough was soft and sweet and contained great fillings. We also had the coconut smoothies. Overall a great choice for a quick grab-and-go breakfast or lunch. The staff was friendly, even though I hit a girl with the door when I entered be careful!
Nothing fancy. It was ok. Basically a croissant with a bit of toppings inside. I also feel like the ingredients inside could be a little extra because i barely saw any beef or ham.
Very interesting experience. Shop keeper was super nice and I had the Guava & Cheese flavor. I like it. Tips: walk down to the road and there is a very beautiful and quite place for patio seating. The bright yellow long table is an art piece. You can seat there and enjoy your food. Second Picture.
It's really delicious. Tiny spot with incredibly delicious food. Loved eating here, would againRecommended dishesSpinach and Ricotta
It’s had been a while without eating a delicious Cachito!! I felt back at home. congratulations for such a great product and for all the achievements!! Venezuelan product 100% recommended it! Made with love.
$7 and a nasty attitude! My husband is Venezuelan. We were very excited to try this place. The woman who was there didn't greet us, no hello, no nothing. She was not friendly to say the least. I asked how much ot cost and she didn't answer. Such a sad experience. I wouldn't return!
Since I left Venezuela, I hadn't eaten a "Cachito" for 10 years. While visiting Montreal I was moved to see a Venezuelan "panaderia" Upon entering to the place, all the excitement dissipated having to deal with the woman who attends the place. She was absolutely rude, not polite at all. The only unfriendly person I've run into in Montreal and had to be a Venezuelan. She ruined the whole experience of tasting the cachito. Just in case the management of this business wants to check up on what happened, this just happened to me 10 minutes ago today. I WILL NEVER COME BACK! And I will make sure to tell what happened to me here to everyone I know.
I didn’t know what a cachito was, but now that I do, I’m a fan. Really tasty, a warm place on a cold day with very friendly staff. Just look at the desserts, and tasty as they look. The quesillo was great. It’s got a little bar on the wall so you can eat in, but it looks designed for takeaway.
I googled breakfast and this place was in the list. Once we got there and saw the “Cachitos” we fall in love. Cachito is Venezuelan pastry that we didn’t know about I’m from Colombia and my husband is Mexican with different types of fillings ham/cheese, cheese, guava/ cheese, etc.... is so good and the perfect size. Also, the coffee and the hot cocoa are delicious. The place is small and very warm, not just because the heater but because the people that work there. We met Liliana great person and full of great energy. Go there anytime during the day, eat a Cachito and drink something, you’ll love it.
