We ordered a few dishes and their raw dishes are a must try! Cocktails were delicious as well! Our server was friendly and helpful. The only downside is that they tried multiple times to sell us wine.
First and foremost - the food is outstanding, perfectly flavoured and prepared. The wine list is reasonable. Both menus however, especially the wine, seem quite overpriced compared to other similar restaurants. The service is comically inept at best to terrible at worst - which adds insult to injury when you receive the bill. The venue is beautiful, though cramming eight people on a table for four is insanity - especially when it creates discomfort for those in proximity and not just sitting at the table. This place could be amazing but very much gets in it's own way.
Great fresh foods with good vibes. This restaurant made us good memory in Paris. It was little bit hard to find the door for the first visiting. It was great dinner!
Here is how it went for us: Walking down the alley to find the place is fun, the decor and atmosphere is modern and cozy. The Industrial feel and glass roof makes a difference and is not something common in Paris. The service is on point despite the pressure on the 2hrs times slot. The wine selection is great and we had a nice moment discussing with our waitress about our options. The sea-bream sashimi was exquisite, as well as the sharing platter. The oysters were truly interesting, the langoustine sashimi too. We enjoyed the mackerel on the josper that was there on the day. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the lemon sole we had with a too heavy, buttery sauce and a dessert which was advertised as a chocolate mousse but was more like a warm cake. Overall, if you take into account the price, we left with mixed feelings. It could have been the perfect experience but the last dishes took us down. We mentioned it to the staff and they didn’t seem very bothered… A bon entendeur…
A very hitten but great restaurant. You have to walk down a not so pleasant and bad smelling alley. We were wondering if this really leads to the restaurant. And then - a beautiful tranquil place. Best fish you can find in Paris. We had a Sashimi platter to start with and then the tuna steak. So awesome. I never at a tuna steak with sauce bearnaise - what a great combination. An the tuna was so fresh!
I must admit it’s the best place if sb wishes to eat amazing seafood. The caviar on the salmon carpaccio was incredible, no ways possible to describe! We also took the mix of seafood plate for 2 and it came with two sauce condiments: one truffle based and one soy/wasabi based. The best experience mes papilles gustatives ever had. The whole night was also incredible as we received amazing service with sommelière making us try the three wines we had picked up from the list before getting the most tasteful orange wine ever. Will come back for sure!
We managed to get a last minute reservation which was nice because I wanted to take my wife here for her birthday. The table wasn’t the nicest, located at the staff terminal and wine station but it did mean we got impeccable service as our waiter always had to be around our table. The waiter was super friendly and did an amazing job. The general atmosphere here is very nice. It’s a stylish and trendy venue which really gives you that “I’m in a big metropolitan city” vibe. The champagne is good duh! It’s champers! and the cocktail of the day was amazing so amazing I had two. The food is great and very tasty, except the pulpo was a bit of a let down. The Daurade Sashimi is so simple yet so amazing. The Tarama is so delicate yet so full of taste. The broccoli was nice, but not wow. Same goes for the tartare of tomatoes with moules. The tataki of tuna was truely delicious. Finished it off with an espresso and a glass of 10y Laphroaig. Overal we had a very nice evening and a good experience and I would recommend this place to friends and family, heck I would even come back myself.
Probably one of the best restaurant in paris ! I highly recommend caché. The place is caché hidden super cute terrace and the inside is wow ! The service is perfect ! And the food taste amazing. Don’t miss the madeleines you will never eat better madeleine in your life !
Maybe too much anticipation for that long awaited Caché.... what to say... certainly blown away by the decor and the site, which is more in the line of Sydney or NYC. This is a first for Paris I would say. Service is impeccable, and the sommelier gives really great advice. The list of wines carefully chosen for all types of price and style… nice point Now to the food. The issue with this kind of concept, when mostly everything is raw fish...ceviche like style...is that at some point it can be a little bit samy, to the point where you eat undefinable fish flesh… mixed with various spices, lime juices, and rose pepper. This is to the level that one got added Lobster, the other octopus… you just notice the additional element, sometimes. To that point, the “polpo” was not as good as the one we had a Bonhomie few days before. Shame. And the lobster, such a careful ingredient, with such delicate flavour was simply covered by all the tarty juice. Sorry but at that price and at that trendy fashionable targeted level, I am to be peaky! Not to notice the gambas, completely overcooked to the level of being mushy and almost impossible to take the shell off. Disappointed. One good mark to the inventive Sole done in a kind of skitake maybe or other muchroomy sauce with loads….loads of pepper and that was very nice, or the grilled mackerel with that tomato concasse and garlic saganaki ...fresh! Also on the dessert, one amazing….one failure. The most amazing cheesecake ever, the vanilla flavour was so strong it was choking, to the level of not feeling the flavour of apricots….but who cares when it’s so light and good. On the other side, the pavlova wasn’t a palvo ...but a dry meringue with strawberry coulis mixed with fresh strawberries and a whip cream. What’s wrong… a plavo is an Italian meringue to get foam inside, melting and velvety and a crusty outside. When you’re partner is kiwi, you know those things. So was a french meringue with strawberries! Point made Will I come back? no and will I advise my circle to go, yeah. But I would inform them to not be expecting the grandeur of the expectation we all had and there is a long way to go if that place wants to be on the map of Septime, Bonhomie, Jones, Marso&Co or other sharing plates Paris famous locations. Style over substance, some may say. Another point, notice that the set up is also like London or NYC style - 2 hours time slot and a credit card to secure the table. Insta influencers dropping tables at the last minute without calling the restaurant, and knowing nothing to food are changing this Paris restaurant scene to the worse ...let’s hope we don’t other new places having to engage to that level of security for booking. I understand the credit card, I don’t understand the 2 hours…. But let’s be clear...2 services...fair enough. Maybe I am too old school for those kind of places.
I was in this restaurant for a wine fair on Jura wines, was professional organised... We had some snacks were outstanding. I believe dining will be an amazing experience...
