The atmosphere in here is awesome. Super cozy, the touch of the music item, books, cookbooks and plating is eclectic, but not overdone. The staff are super kind and SUPER talented the mimosa flight was fresh and tasty, and the classic Benny was creamy, savory and a great portion. My only critical feedback was the menu was inaccessible on Instagram, and not very accessible across the room. I'd visit again!
Hmm, I don't understand why they have such a high rating. The service was really slow, the food wasn't that great 5/10, my tea latte was bland and the price was pretty high for food/drinks quality and portions. I love that the servers are friendly and the interior design is nice and cozy. I understand that they are more of a home-cook style restaurant but then you shouldn't charge restaurants price range then. We got their pork belly banh mi benny, fish & chips, americano, tea latter and total was around 60$.
We have trying to find time to come here for a while and when we finally did this past Sunday it was a little disappointing. We loved the small space and interior, but unfortunately the classic eggs benedict just didn't live up to expectations. Add to that the cappuccino just tasted like warm milk with no coffee taste at all. It's great to see it busy so people must love it but I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon.
I really wanted this place to be better than it is; it does so many things well and then some others horribly wrong. Positives: great space, interesting and creative menu, very pleasant staff. On the negative side, if you are not able to get a table sitting at the counter is punitive especially if you are sitting near the bathroom. Worse, when I was there they were blaring Taylor Swift on their "sound system." If that's the kind of vibe you like, this is your place but if it is not, and because it is a small space, there is no escaping it. The sound prompted me to get out as soon as I could and when I got outside into the fresh air and relative silence of the loud traffic noise, I was breathing a sigh of relief! A much better place for takeout than dining-in unless you are looking for a place to take early adolescent daughters. I wish that I could rate it less than one star on atmosphere
Another hidden gem in the city - a cute little brunch restaurant in Osborne. Everything was made fresh in the kitchen, friendly staff, food was great. They change their menu very often and you can follow them on Instagram for updated menu. They have limited seats so we had to come early during the weekend to save our spot.
This place is the cutest, coziest and friendliest little restaurant around. Came for Sunday brunch and only waited about 10 mins for a spot seating is very minimal. Food came quickly and was so fresh and flavourful, our entire party loved our choices. 10/10 will be back!
Stumbled upon this place and it's an absolute gem. There's a whole assortment of delicious looking baked goods made from scratch. Breakfast was delicious, nice sized portions, had to box half my breakfast home. I'm not even a French toast guy, but this French toast was one of the best I've had. The bread is made in house and works as a fantastic dense, crisp toast.
Be prepared to wait a while, the space is small and the food is good so it's pretty popular. Was here on a Saturday & that likely made it longer of a wait. They were able to accommodate my vegetarian request and my Eggs Benedict was pretty perfect. Mushrooms were cooked perfectly, my poached eggs weren't super runny I like them harder. Though I didn't have a drink, they had some fun and weird options.
Amazing new location in Osborne village for brunch! The staff is helpful and friendly, and the FOOD IS AMAZING!! We had the weekly eggs Benedict selection, and brisket hash, both were INCREDIBLE. You can taste the care being put into ingredient selection, menu creation and the making of the food. No reservations, first come first serve and the staff is very helpful in accommodating different group sizes, we experienced little wait times for food when the place was full, well done! The vibe of the restaurant is also carefully curated, our experience there was overall WELL WORTH THE PRICE! We definitely plan to visit often. Highly recommended.
Such a cute spot. Only a few tables but they do a waitlist. Benny Saturdays is great. I had the brie and prosciutto grilled cheese and it was fabulous.Food: 5/5
