Stoneworks is an excellent addition to Winnipeg Square and I dare say the best bistro in downtown. Its soups are creative, flavourful and chalked full of fresh ingredients you can tell. The sandwiches and pop-ups are also great. Most importantly, the chef and staff are all very friendly and the service has a nice personal touch.
A team of 14 of us were wandering around Winnipeg trying to find a place to accommodate us last minute and feeling very tired and hungry. We then came across Stoneworks Bistro and they immediately served us all delicious food. The soup was absolutely amazing as well as their wraps and pizza. They even went the extra mile to re-open their back seating area to give us a place to sit and eat! They chefs were some of the kindest people we’ve met in Winnipeg and I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Today was the first time I ate here and it definitely won't be my last. The sandwich i ate was fantastic, and the people behind the counter made the experience top notch. The woman who took my order I didn't catch her name was so upbeat and happy... she made my day better just in our short interaction.
Reasonably priced and tasty food. Got the turkey flatbread and was pleasantly surprised to get actual turkey breast instead of deli meat, could tell the turkey was fresh. Would recommend and will be returning
I stopped to pick up lunch from Stoneworks Bistro for the first time today and will absolutely be back! I had beef barley soup and a bacon, mushroom & mozzarella popover I think that's what they called it?. Both were so fresh and delicious - the beef barley soup is probably the best I've ever had, with lots of bits of beef and chunks of perfectly cooked carrots and celery. The fellow who helped me choose what to have was super great and the Denise, who rung up my meal, is so lovely and friendly. Truly a wonderful addition to Winnipeg Square!
Amazing food, hidden gem. Soups are made from scratch every day and there’s always three to choose from. Every hand made sandwich is fired in the oven. Try for yourself you won’t be disappointed

Happy that i found this restaurant this afternoon. Sandwich was delicious and they were able to accommodate my dietary needs with a tasty gluten free bun. Staff was super friendly. I will definitely be back!
Incredibly nice staff and delicious food! Definitely a go to if in the area.
