Burrard Animal Hospital + Emergency

Had to take our cat in the night before we had to fly home for Christmas. The entire staff team was amazing, vet took her time to answer all our questions thoroughly and explain options, and the bill was extremely reasonable - appreciated during the holiday season. And a short wait time to see someone. Great experience. Thanks to the entire staff there, especially from Russell the kitty.

Very good facility for pets. Clean, new and well appointed to handle pet health issues of all kinds. I brought my Frenchie there on a couple of occasions because her regular vet was closed and the service was very professional. Pricing wise, it was reasonable as well and in line with the regular vet. Funny thing is, the facilities are actually nicer than my personal GP's office!

My dog came in with a huge cut to her leg. As treated as an emergency I was informed there may be a bit of a wait. I saw one dog unable to walk be taken in before me. Totally understandable. Everyone was super helpful and catered to my needs. They checked on my dog throughout the wait to make sure she was comfortable. Everyone was super helpful. Dr. Kestlemen is a great guy!

I brought my furbaby, Claude, in at the beginning of December 2017 in a panic due to some urinary issues. From the very first call, the assistants at Burrard Animal Hospital were very calm and assuring and were able to get me a spot within the hour after explaining our problem to them. The price I was quoted for his stay + treatment was pretty high, but they walked me through all the medications he would be on in detail and the cost associating with these (plus, I have Petsecure insurance so they explained to me how filing my claim would work). They contacted me many times with updates on his condition and made it clear that whenever I needed to I could call or go in for a visit. Due to their exceptional care I was able to bring Claude home two days early! They took the time to explain to me in detail his medications and the reason for which his urinary problems were caused, in order for me to do my best to prevent future problems. All in all, Claude and I are more than happy with the care given to us at Burrard Animal Hospital and will definitely be trusting this office in the future!

Brought our dog in last minute later evening as he was looking dizzy, disoriented and dribbling urine. Entire staff from front desk to assistants and the doctor were very caring, professional, kind & efficient. We took him home rather than leaving him there over night - had to call back as condition was progressing and they offered further help and options over the phone. They genuinely cared and prices are completely fair and provided several options for us to continue caring for him. High possibility in the end that he swallowed marijuana or an opiate at the dog park. After about 24 hours he is happy and healthy! Would refer them to family and friends in the future!
