Burgertown Dairy Freeze

We were staying at nearby Wayfarers State Park and we got distracted by time playing in the water all day and had no plans for dinner. So we decided to try a couple of the local places and got pizza from Rosa's next door and shakes and burgers from here. It was super busy for 8:30 pm on a Sunday night, in fact every time we drove by this place was packed and that is why we knew we had to try it before leaving town. Counter staff were busy but friendly and the order was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I don't really like burgers, so the pizza was more my thing, but the Mr loved his burger. I did try the fries and the shakes and they both get my thumbs up! The shakes were a perfect dessert treat after a very warm sunny day! We took it all back to the campground and enjoyed some darn good food on the picnic table - I highly recommend it! Great stop - Definitely stop in here!

This place has been around since the 70s. It's got an amazing location right near Wayfarers State Park. The food is always excellent although in the summertime it can get quite busy. You can call in your order and pick it up. Delicious shakes available too.

Great little hole in the wall restaurant! If you're not from around here you probably wouldn't stop unless someone recommended it to you. Fantastic little burger, fries, and milkshake joint!

Hand pressed fresh burgers made to order. I can get it exactly like I like it with grilled onions and pickles only kind of like White Tower Burgers back in Maryland in the 50-60's

Great food. It's a seasonal place so only open during the summer currently. Go there knowing if it's busy it's a half hour wait but so worth it.
