After we walked to Smoke's Poutinierie. No one in there at like 8 pm on a Monday Night. I heard about the Butter Chicken Poutine so I really wanted to try it. I got the regular size and it was packed and the box was filled. The Butter Chicken Sauce was solid and I'm happy they put a ton of Green Onions and Sauce. The employees were super friendly and greeted you entering and leaving the place. Solid poutine place and I would love to try some of the other flavors they have.

I visited smokes_poutinerie last night for the first time at the downtown Ottawa Location. It was one of the worst experiences I ever had with fresh-cut fries. I ordered the Wow size fries with gravy, that what I was given to eat!!!! the real deal attached And don't get started on the sauce! All in all, it was a national disappointment & embarrassment! Smokes, go back to the drawing board to figured out how to keep quality food up & up constantly.
Never disappoints! The place to go when you are craving poutines. Tasty, satisfying portions and reasonably priced. Clean place and pleasant staff.
Went there with my friends. Delicious poutines with toppings loaded up. Staff is very friendly and explain the menu items if you are not aware what to order. Overall had a great experience.
I got the Korean poutine aprox 6 PM on a weekday. Disappointed that it was not hot enough to melt the cheese curds, even after subway ride to Parliament station. Noticebly bland potato. I ate 90% of the meal and it did not make me sick. Chip truck downtown near World Exchange has a much better quality poutine. It's rare that I give this poor a review. Costco poutine seems high end compared to the expensive meal Smoke's served me.
Good poutine but 3 Brothers on the same corner offers way better quality. I’d only really recommend this spot for a different style of poutine and if you’re use to Smoke’s menu. Overall solid spot but nothing special. Lastly, keep an eye out when coming late at night as the area is dim and precarious situations often happen on this block. Happy Eating!
Ordered for two person got home to realize the buffalo poutine was a traditional. Went back there to exchange the product which they did without problem. Once back home everything seems ok when opening the container just to find out after the first bite they used the butter chicken sauce instead of the buffalo. Feel bad for the two employees who seem to be really rushing that night but for the price the place is charging this is a ripoff and should be avoided poor food quality at way too expensive price for poutine.
