Burger Bar

Best local burger place we have tried. We stop by with our kids every now and then. Not too often, but often enough to know the quality has kept up overime. It is true that you get more food in your order than most places. Definitely worth trying it. Also, I haven't purchase the meat of the month deal, but they have interesting choices of meat that may catch your attention.

My favorite burger place on Earth and I've been all over it. Anything out of America doesn't count anyway, they don't really get it. It's very popular so expect a line. The shakes are nice and thick. Spend the money for the good burgers. Worth it. And I always get the fried mushrooms. They are always made fresh and are just so so good. But, if you don't like mushrooms do not get them. You have the right to choose.

Called in order 20 minutes before arriving. Was told order would be ready to pick up in 20 minutes. However, when we arrived 18 minutes later, had to wait 7 minutes in line just to reach the window and talk to an employee and announce our arrival. Our order, was supposedly, just barely beginning to be cooked. Then we had to wait an ADDITIONAL 40 minutes in the heat in our car because this place does not have any outside tables for waiting customers or those that would like to stay and eat there. Also, customers are not able to enter inside the establishment. So, in total, our order was not ready for us for over an hour from the time we ordered over the phone. THEN, you have to add the entire time it took to drive back home before we could sit down and enjoy it. P.S. (+ reheating the food via the microwave!) Yes, the food is tasty enough, but when you combine the all the trouble you go through and the higher than average cost for their meals, I'm over it!

Here's the thing about burger bar: the burgers are mediocre, but everything else is fantastic. I had a BLT recently that had bacon cooked perfectly crisp in every single bite. The tomato was beautifully ripe and delicious. It was perfect. The onion rings are phenomenal, and the chicken strips are pretty good too.

Exotic meats, great tasting, small town look and feel, and wonderful blends of drinks and milkshakes! Love it! Visit at least once a month!
